There is no way this game is going to be released in a month....you MIGHT get lucky and get it by March of 2018 but very end of 2018 beginning of 2019 is more probable.

It's all hype, I know people are getting sick of me saying it but it's the truth - GTA V took forever to come out and it was such a sub-par game, all built on hype my man and it made a billion in no time.

No one is saying the game is going to be out in a month, you're reading the date wrong. UK listing, not US.

It probably is, mostly since it looks nowhere near as good as something like Horizon.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Delayed to Spring 2018

Rockstar Games delayed the Red Dead sequel from its planned fall release.

By Jonathon Dornbush Rockstar Games has announced that its upcoming sequel Red Dead Redemption 2 will now be released for the PS4 and Xbox One in the spring of 2018.

Originally revealed to be releasing in the fall of 2017, Rockstar announced the delay today, saying that "some extra time is necessary to ensure that we can deliver the best experience possible for our fans."

Rockstar also offered a look at brand new screenshots from the Red Dead sequel:

Part of me wants to say..."Darn it...again!!!"...but the other part is somewhat relieved because as usual there are some solid games scheduled for the Fall and Holidays....Not knowing what other delays might happen, RD2 for next Spring might feel a void. I know this was originally scheduled a week after Destiny 2 but I frankly have my sights on....

COD: World War II
Star Wars Battlefront 2
Middle-Earth: Shadow of War
....and probably still playing Elder Scrolls Online along with Warframe....

Hey if I waited this long what's another year or so to perfect what I hope is another masterpiece. But no fucking way in hell am I going for 100% on this one! Just fucking single player campaign, maybe some more hunting, if that is as addictive and fun as the first, and I'm done. Not only did I get suspended here for being a douche, it was just plain hard and burned me out. I mean I was hunting at like 12am many times. I never ever do that. Everything before 8 if I have the time. It was just so damn fun and addicting the hunting was and knowing I killed every animal in the world was pretty cool. But 100% is fucking tough and props to those who do it regularly. I mean it burned me out so bad it was hard to play the first again. Maybe one day. But, can't wait for this. Lot of pressure recreating this world with new mechanics and visuals. I hope this exceeds...

I'm not really surprised that this game is being delayed but those screenshots are going to make the waiting really painful.

I'll have Middle-Earth: Shadow of War to hold me over until then...

AMEN....I think this game is shaping up to the Surprise Sleeper Hit of 2017 much like the ME:SoM did when it came out. The game has been totally remade, revamped and improved all over...unlike Destiny 2 which is just a new paint job, a few new maps, same characters with a new ability.....will hold me over till Red Dead which will prove worth waiting for.....and those screen shots prove it.....OMG what a change from the 360 version.

As already mentioned - First delay announced right on schedule - now to be released spring 2018 - second delay will probably be announced sometime just before spring in 2018 for a late 2018 release, final delay will be announced sometime in October 2018 for an early 2019 release....at which point it will finally be released.

I don't remember seeing a ton of excitement for this title online anywhere so I'm not sure why rockstar is playing this game again....I only posted this because I saw it on Instagram by the way.

Uh, seriously?

I wasn't as big a fan of the last game as others but it was one of the highest rated games of all time and it's been pretty clear and obvious that the series is a huge hit with tons of anticipation for the sequel for some time now. It's not GTA, but still one of the best selling games as well.

Not surprising. I guess I'll have to play one of the other 10,000 games that come out this fall.

I'm guessing at least one more delay as well.
