Re: Bioshock: Infinite
there could be more to it since mind you that was showtimes. As we all know by the time it was released the proper title was a known thing. I've seen early movie posters using this name but for it to appear on the marquee implies it's not "our" 1983 just like it wasn't "our" 1912.

4 weeks in Borderlands 2 isn't going to be enough by the time this comes out.
That problem aside, this fall is shaping up much nicer than 2011 for me.

Hrmm, and both of those are 2k games, so I will probably be doing a writeup for both. Not much of a timeframe to really enjoy that type of game. But then again, it should be an excellent fall for games.

It's not surprising, but this is yet another year where all the AAA games come out in the fall, rather than being scatter throughout the year.

BioShock Infinite Delayed to 2013
This fall's much-anticipated BioShock Infinite will now be released in February 26, 2013, publisher Take Two announced this morning.
The game had been planned for an October release.
"When we announced the release date of BioShock Infinite in March, we felt pretty good about the timing. Since then, we've uncovered opportunities to make Infinite into something even more extraordinary," the game's creative director Ken Levine said in a press release announcing the delay this morning. "Therefore, to give our talented team the time they need to deliver the best Infinite possible, we ve decided to move the game's release to February."

I am good with this. Borderlands 2, Halo 4, CoD:BO2 will be plenty to keep me busy this fall. Nothing released between between Dec. & May ever captures my attention, Inifinite will work nicely in Feb.

I thought the game was damn near finished. Hell, the video we saw about a year ago looked better than 90% of the games that are on the market now. Get this done already!

Re: Bioshock: Infinite
If it means we'll get a better game in the end, I'll happily wait a few more months. This fall is getting pretty crowded as is, so I'm actually glad that this got delayed a little.

Well more time for borderlands 2 and Halo 4for sure. But i really was looking forward to this. As mentioned before this game looks cool as ever and unreal, even in the stage it is now. I'm surprised as not releasing it before the holiday season though and taking the so-called "new opportunitites" and turning them into future DLC. I'm wondering if it's the concept, storyline, new challenges or what?

RE used to be one of the franchises I really liked although it never was a favorite. I think they took a dip in shit with 5 though. It was a decent game but nothing I wanted to play more than once.

Gears of War Dev Joins BioShock Infinite Team
Rod Fergusson moves to Irrational.
ormer Epic Games director of production Rod Fergusson has joined Irrational Games. Fergusson himself confirmed the news on Twitter, writing “Yes it's true, I'm leaving my family at Epic to join my new family at Irrational in Boston starting tomorrow. And yes I've played Infinite and it's amazing! Can't wait for you guys to get your hands on it.”
While Fergusson’s formal title hasn’t been revealed, he’s presumably replacing director of product development Tim Gerritsen who departed Irrational yesterday. Gerritsen’s responsibilities included “overseeing the product development division of the company,” reporting progress to corporate, negotiating contracts, hiring and recruitment.
Meanwhile, reports from Kotaku suggest that two multiplayer modes originally planned for BioShock Infinite have been canceled, including one that involved fighting waves of toys inside of an arcade machine, and another that offered a co-op option for completing missions. News of both comes from sources allegedly within Irrational, though creative director Ken Levine simply commented “As I've always said we are experimenting with things, and only if they are good enough will we put them in the game” when asked.

Re: Bioshock: Infinite
I believe that the gentleman is implying that the statue is not worth the $70 price difference between the Premium edition and the Ultimate edition. Furthermore, if the statue were to be sold on its own, separate from the game, a far smaller number of people would be interested in purchasing said statue.
