Re: Bioshock: Infinite
I haven't been in a Gamestop in months but that will change next month when the new Game Informer comes out. 3 different retro inspired covers for Bioshock Infinite. Joystiq has a few dozen shots on how the covers evolved here.
Seems a bit premature to have so much coverage when the game is still two years out.

Re: Bioshock: Infinite
I got that one too.
I absolutely cannot wait for this game. Having just finished Bioshock 2 and the d/l content I'm going thru withdraws. It's such a kickass atmosphere... the only part that bummed me out is the MP.
I'm not sure this type of game even needs MP... but if you're going to do it, it's gotta be executed better than the garbage I witnessed.

That game footage is sheer brilliance. The fact they have 2 years to refine gameplay and make sure things are perfect really makes me excited for the game.

Re: Bioshock: Infinite
2012? that's such a disappointment.
The gameplay footage is fucking phenomenal. I want to play now. Not 1.5 years from now This shouldn't even be called "Bioshock".
Seriously... if that's really in-engine footage, what's the holdup? Winter 2011 should be do-able.

Re: Bioshock: Infinite
the gameplay video was freaking amazing. The only thing that bugs me visually is the clouds. They look pretty blah, or a game taking place in the sky. It would be sweet looking if they were big white puffy clouds that would give some depth to the sky

Re: Bioshock: Infinite
Vid was awesome and those mags look great!
I dig the whole 'racism' topic they look to be covering... but lets see... the intro had NO caricature of a black person. Do they get a free pass now in everything? The jew, irish, and mexican ones were pretty bad/offensive. Its pretty shitty they get everyone else except the heavily caricatured big lipped, slouched over, slow, lazy depiction from the 30s

Anyway, the Xenophobia depicted here makes sense for the near turn of the century setting.
