Dude, he lives in Oregon. They're just now getting to the 90's. That's where the dream of the 90's is alive.

Sirius?
And of course you realize that my stereotypes come from living my first 21 years in Canada, where Kentucky equated to the Colonel, bumfucking, and foghorn leghorn. Not just Kentucky though, Pretty much anything that was south of the Dakotas, and east of Colorado.
And yes, I am wearing a Canadian Tuxedo while writing this.

Live!
Of course now I'll no longer be part of the annual call for bands. Anyone mind if I piggyback on the call for Cake?

All this speculation, but how do we know it's going to be "Unbelievable"? I'm pretty pumped for A-Ha (I really thought the inclusion of "Take On Me" on the RB3 disc would've been a no brainer) and Live. Well, Mental Jewelry and Throwing Copper era Live; I kinda lost interest in them after those.
It's been years since I listened to it, but in high school I really liked Schubert Dip, their debut album. "Unbelievable" was definitely the highlight, but there were a few other singles.
"Children":

"Lies":

"I Believe":

I also played the hell out of the "Unbelievable" CD single back then and always liked the b-side "EMF":

Jeez, I'm a dork.

"Lies" was the only song of EMF's that came to mind when people questioned if they had any other tracks. That was the only other one I remember of theirs that got any radio play.
"Unbelievable" was a #1 song. I just looked up "Lies" and it was their only other Top 40 hit and it peaked at #18. I had the album years ago (actually the cassette) and I only remember those two songs. I must have rewound and fast forwarded a lot.

Congrats! I gave up yesterday in favor of instant gratification. It's ridiculously awesome on guitar.

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
I too won an Ozzy code via Twitter yesterday (it was the RT contest, however.) This is my second code win; a few weeks back I got a Foo code from Rockbandaide. I don't know how many people are trying to get these things, but Pinata is right...give it a go. It seems like the odds are decent for a win.
I'm pleased because I planned on buying the full Ozzy pack but I really only wanted a handful of the songs. It's a good way to save 13 bucks for next week's (hopefully) kick-ass set of tunes. I've got a RB/birthday party coming up and I'd love a few of the rumored artists like Poison and A-Ha to hit. Anything well-known and fun to sing, either sober or drunk, would be appreciated.

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
There are a ton of people trying to win on twitter from the various people that give out codes.
You have to be extremely fast and extremely lucky. People like Major Nelson have a ton of followers and codes go in milliseconds.
I won a Bon Jovi DLC code from a contest and still have it because I already had the pack. I was hoping to trade it for something but no one seems to want to trade. Since it is a pricy pack, I'd want to get equal value. If anyone has a spare code for some of the bigger DLC packs (Billy Joel, recent Queen packs, etc) let me know.
