I apologize if there is a thread for this however I did a search and did not see one. I was looking around on Amazon and found this preorder for December 31st. Is this something which will be announced at E3? I knew the title was being worked on but did not realize it was going to be released anytime soon. Any other info would be appreciated.....going to post over at cheapassgamer and see if anyone there has heard anything. Thanks in advance!!!

There was a blurb on Joystiq that the game is still alive, but not much else.

I'm relieved to hear it's still alive but I was really distraught it wasn't shown at E3.

I think they just announced its existence WAAAY too early.

I was off Monday and watching the Ubisoft conference...which was a complete joke outside of Ghost Recon and Rayman Origins. I was waiting...and waiting for them to announce Beyond Good and Evil 2 and right at the end they said they had one more thing to announce.....I was getting really exicted....then nothing!!! What is with all the crap they introduced early in the news conference? Do they really believe people want to play laser tag instead of Beyond Good and Evil 2? They seem to be really off center with some of the crap they have been working on. It is truly hard to believe what I was watching on Monday and thinking this is what Ubisoft has to offer in the year 2010? Anyhow....maybe next year.

I am really excited about Ghost Recon...Brink...Killzone 3...Call of Duty Black Ops...Fallout Vegas...Medal Of Honor.

That's great to hear. I want this game, probably as much as I've ever wanted the next installment of a game as an adult, but I'm willing to wait. I do hope that it gets a 2011 release though.

I'm fine waiting as well but at this point I think I'd rather see it on next gen systems. Didn't BG&E release late in the life of last gen resulting in poor sales? Make it a launch title for next gen. I know those goal posts keep getting moved, but it has to be around the corner.

I think little to no marketing was to blame for the poor sales. Same as what happened to Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.
