Demo definitely wasn't my cup of tea, although it seemed well-made and pretty slick for what it is. Far too chaotic and actiony for my tastes, though. I'll have to pass on the full-price game.

Weapons....Borderlands "zillions" and Bulletstorms; Flailgun, flare pistol, and a Peacemaker (few we've even messed with) that can light them up. You could probably interchange and not miss a step

Look...While Borderlands is gel-cell while still detailed in some areas Bulletstrom is more polished but not detailed like COD in terms of realistic. Enemies look close alike, setting and surrondings (landscape) are close alike.

Borderlands has Giant Spiders, Bulletstorm has Giant Plants...so what

While the gameplay was fun and it looked great, the dialog and "story" was embarrassingly childish. It's like they are trying their hardest to make it THE game that all fourteen-year-olds have to play. As if Live isn't full of enough vulgar kids talking trash, this will just encourage them even more.

I would have no problem with the foul language and inane dialog if it was well written and served a purpose, but this just feels so calculated.

Tried the demo and was pretty underwhelmed. It's not bad, but by the end of my first play through the level, I was already getting a little bored with it. I really think it will wear out its welcome quickly. Again, not a bad demo, just not my cup of tea.

I really enjoyed this. Over the top, but fun all the same - I played it again right away and enjoyed it even more, which is a sign of a really great game with high replayability. Can't wait to get my dick on!

I enjoyed The Club as a rental, but it didn't hold my attention very long. Same deal with Bulletstorm, if the demo is any indication.

The Club was a very under-appreciated game. I enjoyed it a lot. Surprisingly, the latest 50 Cent game was also pretty fun. Even though I don't like rap at all, I gave it a chance because I heard good things about it. It plays a lot like the Club, mixed with Gears of War. Plus, it's fun to laugh at the story, writing and 'Fiddy Power.'

Bulletstorm looks similar in some ways, so I'll most-likely enjoy it.

Yeah, I'm getting the vibe that I'd be very happy with this as a rental. But seeing as there are no Blockbuster anywhere near me anymore, and all the Hollywood Videos went kaput and as I'm on lifetime ban from Gamefly (thanks to a postal thief during my one month trial in 2004), if itdoesn't show up in a Redbox near me, I'm SOL.

I might purchase this if it falls under $30 or somebody does a B2G1 free promo... but the demo did nothing for me. It was too chaotic and it didn't feel like it really had a point.

Also, and maybe I'm old, but when the demo opens with the main character calling the planet he's on a "butthole"... I don't know, just call it a "shithole" and be done with it. A butthole??

I downloaded the demo, and I didn't even get through the beginning tutorial before stopping and deleting it. This looks like some of the stupidest shit ever.

People are saying this is a better game than Borderlands? Really?

I feel bad for people that think this garbage is worth $60.

It's going to have to blow me away to even come close to Borderlands, in my mind. Borderlands was the best release of 2009, in my opinion. I had a lot of fun playing it with a friend, so it squeezed itself ahead of Uncharted 2.

It has nothing to do with Borderlands except that it's a FPS game that doesn't take itself seriously. But beyond that, there's really no comparison.
