There you go Larry...

Even though I have never been a fan of any of the GTA games, this one has me excited. I Loved GUN, and this looks to improve on that in many ways.

Achievements...trophies should be similar.

I read that the game will have mid mission checkpoints...really the main gripe I had with GTA4....I am stoked...

The more I see about this, the more excited I get. A huge sandbox world set in the Old West? Yes please.

There was a preview I read on Joystiq. I guess they played it a bit and they were exploring and came across a wagon under attack. They had the option of saving the wagon, helping the attackers, or killing everyone and getting a map which became a side quest. It sounded awesome.

I have my pre-order all ready to go at Amazon.

Same here, pre-ordered Day One purchase. I loved GTA4 and Gun! Mix them both together and hopefully it'll be one awesome game.

Looks great, I love the idea of an open world western game. Too bad it's coming out within days of Super Mario Galaxy 2; I'll have to table this for a while.

Yeah, my interest in this has grown quite a bit lately but I have Alan Wake on tap, so this will probably wait for a price drop in my queue.

This is day one for me as well. Still debating between PS3 and 360, though. I guess the GTA4 DLC timed exclusive for 360 didn't pan out as well as MS would have liked, so I would imagine DLC (if there is any) should be simultaneous for both consoles. Has anything been announced officially in that regard?

Wow ist been almost 10 years and no ones ever opened a thread on my behalf. This almost makes up for not being a winner in any of the damn contests here

Can't wait for this, day 1 purchase for me. With all the great games coming out on the 18th you think we would get some midnight releases.

I almost started this thread several times. Could never come up with a title that I liked well-enough for it, though. "Thread Dead Redemption" was the best that I could think of, and even that wasn't very good.

Anyway, definitely looking forward to this one. This genre doesn't get explored enough in video games. Won't buy it at launch--hardly ever buy games at full price--but when it hits, say $40 or less, and as long as the reviews and word-of-mouth are good, I'm in.

I did a bit on the Xbox back in the day but never finished it. I never played the 360 version.

I think this game is what Gun should have been. Really looking forward to it now.

Gun was a flawed game from top to bottom, but as someone said above, they don't do these games much, so I had a blast with it...and how many space marines can you play as before you get tired of those types of games???? So if they hit a home run with this one, I will be glued...

Although I wouldn't mind getting the "War Horse" bonus with Best Buy, I went with Amazon and their Golden Gun download along with a $10 gift card for another future game.

The more I read/watch about this game, the more I want to play it. May 18th can't come soon enough!
