I already have this game and I know I didn't pay for it. Was it previously free or part of the Ambassador program?

I never played 4 Swords, so I'm in for free.

Awesome, thanks for the Heads-up. I have it on my son's 3DS (from Ambassador Program, I think) - he plays my 3DS and likes that game the best of everything. Now I'll have it on my own 3DS XL as well!

Upcoming game : Disney Magical World Comes out 4/11/14

<iframe id="viddler-8ba5cefe" src="//www.viddler.com/embed/8ba5cefe/?f=1&offset=0&autoplay=0&secret=68939386&disablebranding=0&view_secret=68939386" width="545" height="349" frameborder="0" mozallowfullscreen="true" webkitallowfullscreen="true"></iframe>

Looks like a Disney-themed Animal Crossing clone with a little Kingdom Hearts thrown in. Hard to tell from that trailer if it's a game just for little kids -- it sort of looks like it. But I'm a sucker for all things Disney. It sold really well in Japan, apparently

The dancing mini-game has me a little worried (though it didn't ruin Sid Meyer's Pirates).

Just wanted to take a second to recommend the Hori TPU Clear Duraflexi Protector. I got one from Amazon yesterday and it is the shit. It has a great feel to it and it's nice not having to worry about scratching up my Zelda 3DS XL anymore.

Some pics (not of mine):

Spoiler:

$12.99 on Amazon, highly-recommended

I wonder if you can use it with the charging cradle. I'd imagine not.

Watching the Nintendo Direct now. I've kind of neglected my 3DS recently, but Kirby Triple Deluxe looks like it'll take care of that.

Kirby Triple Deluxe looks fun, but I wish it were done with hand-drawn sprites instead of polygons - but I guess they needed to do that for the "3D"...

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

I get it but damn, way to make something as sexy as the Zelda 3DS into something uglier than if a child used it for a few months.

I just use one of the reversible pouches on the Club Nintendo site to keep it in when I'm not playing.

Yeah, it's like those plastic couch covers. Sure, your couch might stay clean, but it looks horrible

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

It doesn't really look that bad in person. Sure, not as nice as it does without it, but to me the slight hit it takes in aesthetics is worth not having to worry about scratching it all up all the time.

Love,

Grandma Opal

If the 3DS always in that case, then scratches would look better.

Are you really worried about the outside getting scratched while you're playing? If not, then why not just put it in a case when you're not playing it?

I have a blue one for my blue 3DS and imported a pink one for my daughter's 3DS, and they look ok to me.

I believe all the Level 5 games are on sale (at a pretty good discount) right now, pretty much all of them are worth checking out. Plus that free sub game is out as well.

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

I am about 6 or 7 hours into Bravely Default and enjoying the hell out of it. I played the demo for a little bit and its actually much easier to rebuild the town in the actual game and get great gear right away if you have the money.

In the demo i was struggling to get 3 or 4 townspeople. In the actual game you can work with everybody else playing the game so I had 20 villagers in just a few days thanks to streetpassing once a day (not streetpassing as in their 3DS must be in close proximity to yours but just using the "update data" in the game screen).

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

I've spent about 20+ hours with my 2DS and Love it. I really can't see myself ever going back to the 3DS or XL. Anyone else really enjoy this little system?

We have two 2DS and one 3DS and they all get used... but the kids clamor over the 2DS more than the the 3DS.

For some reason, the 2DS screen just looks better. I know it's just one screen and not two, but something about it just looks good.

Sadly, I have a piece of dust under the screen so at some point I need to send it into Nintendo

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

Question I started a tread because my 3DS was damaged. Target is going to switch it out for me but...

Now how should I go about saving my game saves? I'm guessing I need to do a factory reset to erase my eshop payment info. When I set up the new one would I have to re purchase things I bought on the eshop?
