Finally found on Amazon (with free super saver shipping), a copy of Konami Classics Volume 1 on 360 for under $10 ($9.98). I had to get a few more things saved in my cart to make the $25 (things I actually wanted though), but I think $10 was well worth it for Symphony of the Night and Super Contra on disc (I already have Frogger) rather than pure DLC.

Thanks. Although, knowing me, I'll forget about it and end up keeping it.

Just picked up Call of Duty 4 at a pawn shop for 15 bucks. The only game in that series i've played is World at War. I thought it was a hella fun shooter. What should i expect from this one?

Most recently got Oblivion GOTY for PS3 and then Quantum of Solace PS3 before that. Both are great games and I paid $25 for both new.

Having just finally gotten around to playing World at War, I'd say you should expect a significantly better game.

re: The last video game you bought (that you’re actually going to play)
My purchases are going to pretty much halt now, but I had to sneak in one for this on the 360:
During my time on the "inferior" PS3 build, I only hammered through the main storyline and the skim-off-the-surface of the Brotherhood of Steel expansion -- which glitched up on me at a point where I'd have to use the most recent previous save, conveniently placed right after I beat the game. So, when a deal popped up for a like new copy at $33, I decided to go ahead and take the plunge for the extra expansions, the lack of bugs, the improved graphics, and the ability to concoct my own music playlist for scrambling around the wasteland.
