Sometimes I don't bother deleting and just let them age out. Admittedly I don't receive many voice messages on XBL.

Another system update has hit but for some reason the download failed and right now I'm seeing:
Neat. Hopefully it's fixed soon.

I never got my update for the Fall Dashboard Preview program even though I got accepted when I took the survey!

Watching the game and I cannot complain at all about the quality or performance. For free, I can handle the quick switches from sharp hd to low-bandwidth softness. Hasn't buffered at all.
Very happy!

I noticed the delay when I was on vacation a few weeks ago watching the US in the World Championships. Definitely a few to several seconds behind.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't ESPN3.com actually show commercials during the media timeouts? The static, silent placards are really annoying.

Hitting the Y button (or up/down) brings up a scoreboard and you can switch to other live games (only one other right now) or toggle to the user predictions.
X jumps to live.
Other than that, typical xbox playback controls.

If ESPN on the 360 is going to make my team play this shitty, I'll never use it again.

Last post about this, I promise. It has been interesting watching the prediction bar shift all game.
Started out about 70% OkSt, shifted as A&M gained a big lead to about 70% A&M, settled on 50/50 for a bit before slowing tipping towards A&M again (not really sure why).
It's a nice feature.

Looking forward to the Netflix update. Can't even comprehend why they're putting sports into my videogame console. Does not compute.

Can a mod move the sports related posts to the right forum?
There's a Sports forum, right?

Sorry to interrupt all the fascinating sports talk, but did anyone else notice that Microsoft is running a deal from the 360 dashboard: Buy a year of Live for $45 and get 800 Microsoft points free, or buy two years for $84 and get 1600 points free. The kicker is that you get the points by the time the offer ends, but you don't get charged for the renewal of Live until your current membership expires, which for me is...2012.
Also, I read somewhere that there was a deal going on for DLC starting today, where if you bought a certain amount worth of DLC you get 800 free points or something like that? Is that true, because I'm not seeing anything about it on the dashboard.

If you spend 2400 Microsoft Points or more during the month of October, Microsoft is offering $10 back. You heard that right – you will get a whopping 800 Microsoft Points back for spending $30 on games. That’s like getting $40 worth of games! Thankfully, there’s plenty of reasons to start spending your Microsoft Points since we’re coming right off the heels of the Summer of Arcade 2010. You must have missed something.
I guess this could be a way to soften the blow once Xbox LIVE Gold membership prices go up. Who knows. Remember, you have until October 31st to capitalize on this deal.
