Of course not -- I think it would only take six days to ship an XBox to Upper Volta.

You did this somehow, twikoff, didn't you?

weird.. your xbox showed up at my house today by accident
I marked it return to sender (dropped it on the ground a few times) and crammed it into my mailbox..
Im sure the usps will get this ups package back to you

Nice try, but my console showed up at my house today. It's the same console I sent in -- hopefully they fixed it. I'm firing up RDR even as we speak -- let's see if I have any problems. The one down side, this will be about the fourth time I've played through the first few hours of the game. I'm ready for some new stuff!

Quick question, I'd greatly appreciate it if anyone can help me out.

I just ordered a 360 elite for my in-laws. It will be used 99-100% for Rock Band, can I just copy my profile and games saves over to their hard drive via USB so we don't have to open everything up again and to get all the DLC and imported songs on it? (they won't have it connected to the internet, so I'm not worried about not being able to log on to my own machine)

You can't copy your profile. Your gamertag can only exist in one location at once to prevent exactly what you are wanting to do.

The only way to do what you are wanting is to trade systems with them. You give them your old console that downloaded all the RB songs and they would be able to play them offline with any profile and you could redownload them all to the new console with your gamertag. You would then have to be online to play them at all times.

Thinking about it more you could put your tag on the new system, redownload everything and go through the license transfer to the new system. They would then be able to play offline with any tag and you could take your tag back to your system but you would need to be online to play any of that content.

They really need a "download all" for transferring your licenses to a refurb system. This is really tedious.

I can't remember why I abandoned that game and tried a third restart, but it didn't work either.

I still have my first save on a flash drive, but given that it was a month ago at this point, I decided to just start from scratch.

I'm not sure it deserves it's own thread, but goddamn Toy Story 3 is a whole lot of awesome.

Yeah. If you are a Toy Story/Pixar fan at all, and like platforming I can't recommend it enough. It's been a blast so far. I'd liken it to the level of the Lego games, but there's a ton of variety so far and the overall presentation and level changes have been great.

It's definitely aimed at kids, but it's a kids game that even I can enjoy what they're doing, and that's not very easy to do. Seems like one that would be great for families to play together, which is how I feel about the Lego games as well.

I really don't think I could play the game before seeing the movie for fear of spoilers. Speaking of which, I'm hoping I can make it through the movie with no more than 3 complete emotional breakdowns.

I think the tie to the movie is pretty loose at best. Unless you are avoiding the story in general even.

Yeah, but you can't know that before you play and I would have been too scared to attempt it, even if I had a fancy podcast recording soon so I had little choice.

As for the movie, I know the trailers and the general direction.

As surprisingly good as this one is supposed to be, I'm still hoping they make a Lego Toy Story so we have a good game that covers all three movies. They're already making actual Toy Story Legos so a game doesn't seem too far out of the question.

As chuckd21. He sent me a very well-written and interesting XBL message about the game.

Kinect is being priced @ $149.99 around various retailers. If this is the case, I don't see it having much chance. They need to price it at $99.99 bucks including a game. If they want any chance of this succeeding.
