I've played both of these demos, and I was far more impressed with Dante's Inferno even though they're essentially the same game.

I don't know that I'll be able to get this on release day, but I'll definitely buy it before I pick up GoW.

I'm really curious about that. For me GOW was so much superior, better graphics, much more vaired gameplay, more challenging, better music. Hey, I certainly understand that everyone has their own opinion and the right to draw their own conclusion, but to me this statement sounds a lot like "I just watched Jaws and Orca and I thought Orca was a much more impressive movie".

I'd agree that the Icarus wing updraft part was a bummer, but besides that everything in the GoW3 demo just felt so much better to me. And let's not forget that GoW demo is actually 8 months old now.

Reading those reviews, they seem a little generous with their scoring. I'm curious how the big boys score it.

Have you noticed that every EA Games new console IP somehow drops to $20 within 6-9 months? At that price I'll pick it up, but no way I'll get it yet.

On a related front, we can get Brutal Legend for $20 after 2/15 using your Best Buy Gamer's card. I'll probably spring for that.

PROS: Worthwhile combat sequences and excellent level design are the highlights in this devilish tale.
CONS: It doesn't carry the emotional or moral weight that it should; for a game set in Hell, it's surprisingly bland.

It's Team XBox, not Team Various Platforms. As far as they're concerned, God of War does not exist.

The score was relatively low, but the narrative didn't match up with the score, IMO, and made it sound like an 8.5 game. I'm still not regretting my preorder on this, though that may change when I actually play it.
