Yeah, I'm a Season Pass holder for S5 and not a Dr Who fan, so I'll sit this puppy out and play it if they make the goal.

I wouldn't kill for it but I would definitely seriously wound someone for this:

I'm in for $20. I like seeing my name in the credits.

Re: The Ultimate Battle Free Pinball Thread

I downloaded the Archer and Bob's burgers tables for my iPad. BB works great, but every time I try to launch the ball on Archer it barely moves. Is there some trick to this?

EDIT I guess you need to pull the ball back slowly.

Re: The Ultimate Battle Free Pinball Thread

It's discounted on PSN as well. I imagine it's that way on all formats.

Dr Who table funded and then some. The extra $$ will roll over to the next KS table I assume.

Nice. Three tables. No details or release date yet, but you see Predator claws in that image. Website suggesting that 4/26 (a Tuesday) is "Alien Day" in honor of LV426 where the first two movies take place, so that might be when they arrive.

Re: The Ultimate Battle Free Pinball Thread

Aliens movie table is clearly a lock. Predator is obviously in there either as a standalone or as AvP or both.

I'm hoping for Alien, Aliens and a AvP table.

Re: The Ultimate Battle Free Pinball Thread

Well, a bunch of Pinball Arcade tables dropped today for PS4 including "El Dorado and Fireball", Hurricane, Judge Dredd and No Fear : Dangerous Sports. The problem is that due to some sort of a glitch, the tables aren't showing up as Free for those who own the Season 5 Pass. Hope that gets fixed soon.

edit : I messaged Farsight the above text (via Facebook) and in a couple of minutes got the following reply :

Hello there!

We are very sorry for the trouble, we believe this may be an issue with Sony's servers, and we are trying to get a hold of our representatives over there to get this resolved as soon as possible.

Relive the Terror of the ALIEN Universe in Aliens vs. Pinball

We are excited to reveal that we have teamed up with Fox Digital Entertainment to create an all-new pinball three-pack set in the blockbuster ALIEN Universe. Relive the terror in the Aliens vs. Pinball pack!

Aliens vs. Pinball is comprised of three distinct tables. In Aliens pinball, team up with the Colonial Marines as Ellen Ripley on a pinball table based on ALIENS, the 1986 blockbuster film. Face your fears and take on a deadly Alien threat on the Sevastopol Space Station as Amanda Ripley in the Alien: Isolation pinball table and feel the rush of the hunt as a young Yautja warrior in Alien vs. Predator pinball.

Featuring characters from the hit film franchise including Ellen Ripley, Aliens vs. Pinball offers a dynamic interpretation of the terrifying atmosphere and white-knuckle situations that have made the ALIEN anthology one of the most popular, frightening and enduring franchises in science-fiction.

Re: The Ultimate Battle Free Pinball Thread

Man, after years of sound-alikes that don't really sound much like them, it's SO refreshing to have the actual dialogue from Aliens in the new pinball table. Having Ripley, Burke, Hicks and especially Hudson bark out their movie lines is just awesome. And yes the table ends exactly the same way that Bill Paxon Pinball ends every game.
Sounds like they brought back the voice actors from Alien Isolation as well. I never saw AvP so I have no idea about that one.

Farsight has a Kickstarter up for AC/DC. This'll be part of their new Stern Pinball Arcade game.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...-arcade-ac-dc/

Edit: a blurb from the Kickstarter page: The Stern Pinball Arcade will launch with Star Trek, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, Starship Troopers and with your help, AC/DC!

Awesome. If you guys have never played some of the newer Stern pin's you're in for a real treat. Some of the deepest rulesets around, especially AC/DC.

Re: The Ultimate Battle Free Pinball Thread

I'm a little fuzzy about this : They will be selling Stern Pinball as a new game? And the First table pack includes four tables, three of which they've already released on The Pinball Arcade?

Re: The Ultimate Battle Free Pinball Thread

Yeah, it's a new game and I believe it's rated M? Or whatever is needed to get uncensored versions of Sopranos, Playboy and whatever other games require it. I think that was the plan at least.

Re: The Ultimate Battle Free Pinball Thread

No shit? I thought they were going to call that game "Pinball After Dark" or something. Didn't realize this was that game

Pinball tables unhindered by a E10 mandatory rating.
Including three tables I already fucking own from them -- some of them twice already (PS3 & PS4 versions).

Not including the Stern Arcade Table Pack 1 for any Kickstarter tier under $70.

They always seem to try to gouge their loyal fans the most -- rather than make it just slightly more expensive to do a Kickstarter package (which I would happily do to support them), they're asking for WAY more than it would cost in the PSN Store just to support their Kickstarter. Plus does anyone really want/need the same table on FIVE platforms as well as the Table Pack that also contains this table on another TWO platforms? That's an insane package of redundancy just to justify the high price of that tier. It's their shortsightedness in these Kickstarter campaigns that keeps me from supporting them. Far Sight? Quite the opposite actually.

You only own 2 already, right? SST and MSF? Star Trek is new.
