Cartoon shows result in cartoony graphics? Check.

Ball launchers detract from a table's experience? What?

Overall, overall? Man, maybe give your review a once-over before publishing instead of just doing the bare minimum for the free code because you were excited to play Archer pinball.

I wish I still wrote game reviews....but yeah...that review felt like a plug more so than an actual review. The review reads like a 7.5 or 8, tops...and yet he gives it a 9. I do understand what he meant about Ball Launchers though...the one in Deadpool is annoying...also Fear Itself is another bad one. But it's not the whole table, that's for sure.

The review itself doesn't make me want to buy it or not buy it any less...but the screen shots are the most helpful and I'm just deciding if I want to go ahead and spend the $10 now or wait for a sale.

Re: The Ultimate Battle Free Pinball Thread

I just tried the American Dad table. Don't really like it and yes the ball launcher is ridiculous and useless (water bottles that fill up --hilarious?). Still I bought the set because it's Zen and I have all of them (well, except SW Rebels since I still don't know what that is). $10 for four licensed tables on the Vita and PS4 is a great deal regardless.
I'll comment on the other tables when I play them (though I've never seen Bob's Burgers or Archer, so the references will be lost on me)

Now, will we get one table for The Force Awakens or will we get three????

If the ball isn't BB-8, it doesn't matter as it will be a colossal failure.

This is interesting because it will all come down to the licensing and who holds it for the virtual and the physical pins.

The rumor is that Stern Pinball currently holds the license for Ep. 7-9. and will probably build a physical pin based on these sometime in the near future. If this is true then Stern's recently announced partnership with Pinball Arcade may roll over to the virtual table as well. Which could lock out any future PFX Star Wars tables. Maybe.

How do you like the Vita for pinball (Zen and Arcade)?

I'm sorry, is there another use for the Vita besides pinball?

Yeah, it's fun. Doesn't look quite as good, but does look pretty good in normal horizontal orientation (You can play with the entire table displayed vertically, but it's WAY too small to see anything that way). I've passed many hours in doctors' offices and in gymnastic class waiting areas playing pinball. It's kind of the ultimate pick-up-and-play game. And with over 50 tables to pick from between tables I own on TPA and ZP2, it never gets old.

Balls of Glory is now up on Xbox One as well as 360 (which was Tuesday). $10....$10...*looks at $16.49 in account*...*sigh*....I'm so cheap.

Balls of Glory is a really stupid name for the Table pack. Should have been Animation Domination.

Sorry about that. This show always hits at the worst possible time for me, socially, and it's hard to spread the word.

Definitely make plans for Atlanta though. The last two shows were amazing and this year they've doubled the floor space.

Appears that Phasma has a more necessary role too. And I'm basing that solely on one screenshot.

Maybe we will get some Pinball FX sales next week too with this release...though it will probably just be the Star Wars ones which I think I already have.

Seven Things Not to Miss in Zen’s Star Wars Pinball: The Force Awakens Pack

Posted by Bobby Loertscher on Jan 05, 2016 // Community Manager, Zen Studios

Zen Studios is gearing up to release our awesome pinball table two pack based on Star Wars: The Force Awakens. We are tremendously thrilled to be able to work with the team at Lucasfilm on this landmark occasion. We have done a lot to ensure that there will be plenty of details from the movie as well as some great homages to real-life pinball machines that fanatical pinheads will appreciate.

At Zen, we always strive to add as much detail to our tables as we can, and we’re proud to be able to continue that tradition with our latest Star Wars tables. Here are seven things you don’t want to miss in the Star Wars Pinball: The Force Awakens Pack:
Star Wars Pinball: The Force Awakens Table

The table’s left spiral ramp was inspired by one featured on the 1992 Data East Star Wars pinball machine.

The BB-8 mini playfield went through five completely different variations before the one that made it on the table.

The table designer personally performed the pinball table’s motion capture animations for Kylo Ren and Finn!

A shot pulled from the table’s mocap sessions

Star Wars Pinball: Might of the First Order

Some missions take place on different planets and when you start them, the entire table jumps into hyperspace!

The holographic image of the Star Destroyer has some control over the table on which it appears. When it turns left or right, the planets in the background will also turn in the same direction.

Close up shot of the table’s Star Destroyer hologram

The table’s spiral ramp was inspired by the classic Williams 1985 pinball machine ‘Comet’.

The mini-playfield was crafted as a combination of the upper playfield from Stern’s 1980 table ‘Flight 2000′ and the mini-playfield of Williams’ 1954 ‘Lulu’ table.

The Star Wars Pinball: The Force Awakens Pack launches on January 12 on PS3, PS4, and PS Vita for $4.99. We’ll see you on the leaderboards!

They should have thrown some season/pack buys into their pledges. I would have probably bit it if that was the case. I never have played the Doctor Who table but more pinball the better.

I am just waiting patiently on another season/pack sale.

The table itself is pretty great. Lots of moving parts.
