That's what I'm saying, under the terms is says the giftcard is for use online only.

the ad says in-store specials, so I'm assuming u only get the gift card if u buy it at the store, but it says this

Well, if it does turn out to be online only, I'll just have to use it on something other than groceries like I was intending. Not a huge deal, but I can see how it would be a deal-breaker to some. Even if you just get a couple of games or accessories. Year of live, some XBLM points, wireless controller, whatever.

I'm worried about in store availability. My store only has maybe 1 or 2 arcade units on any given day. I wonder if they plan to bring in a large supply for this sale. I don't want to have to stand in some line only to find out they were sold out in 10 seconds.

I would buy one now. Go back at 8am (or as close to it as possible) and try to get the deal legit. Three possibilities:

1) You get the deal and have 2 Xboxes, return the first one. You just wasted an extra trip on insurance.

2) You don't get the deal, but have the first Xbox. Return it and rebuy it at Customer Service. You might be able to talk your way into a $100 gift card without that process, but return/rebuy is worst case.

3) All of the above fail and you simply return the one you pre-bought and walk away.

All of the stores in my area currently have stock.

My main reasons for getting one of these is HDMI and quieter fan noise. I haven't decided if I'll keep my old unit or not. Do you need the hard drive for Netflix?

I would bet they would have 1-4 units, I would hide them in a washer or something.
