I only watched the first 5 minutes so far. I loved it when he said he reviews games on just that game and he doesn't compare it to other games. This is literally 15 seconds after he compared it to MGS4, and Uncharted 2 before that. *EDIT* And I just started watching it again and now he's comparing it to Mass Effect 2

And his reason why it should get a 10 for presentation is it picks up right where 2 left off "when they're climbing the Olympus"

I think the most defining part is at the 10:30 mark where it's pointed out that these bad reviews just make the smaller sites like his "look that much more better". Truth.

I just got to the part where he started his Gamespot rant. He talks about one of the negatives from the review was "Not as diverse as God of War II" and then goes on a long rant about all the different weapons you can use and they are all useful.

I just checked the Gamespot review and the first thing listed under the "The Good" part of the game is "Satisfying combat with a good variety of useful weapons"

That hiphopgamer video is sadly hilarious. "It's not as diverse as God of War 2? What the hell do you mean? First of all, you're playing the game on PS3, so everything is automatically way better than God of War 2, and that includes the diversity."

He failed to explain this, but I *think* what he meant to say was that it picks up where GOW2 left off with a pre-rendered cinematic, but in this game the same scene is done inside the game engine -- and looks just as good but not better.

I just started to play the first God of War it sure can be frustrating at times, and there is no margin for error in that game. When it comes to walking across a beam or trying to out run a giant wall that will crush you to bits. I think I'm almost at the end, but then I have GOW 2 waiting for me it's going to be a long weekend.

Love that all the X-box guys are talking about everything BUT the game...even changed the thread title.

I think I listened to that dude's podcast once a couple of years back...or possibly half of it.

Anyway, the game looks pretty epic...but I'm committing right now to wait till I finish Ratchet and Darksiders and (sigh) several other games before I buy it. Gotta cut back. Plus I have a feeling this will be one I get to borrow.

The G4 review was good...Sessler (sp?) seems like a pretty funny dude...guess I need to look at their reviews more.
