Does everyone save it every save point in the game. I have so far but don't know how much hard drive space it will take. Or will it not go higher than the 5MB required hard drive space it says on the package?

i always save at the save points. it shouldnt take up much hard drive space at all...especially if yr overwriting yr save file each time.

I just beat this game today, and wow, what a ride. It's definitely the 'biggest' and most 'epic' feeling game of the series (although 2 still might be my fav but, I think 3 has more replay value overall), and I think I'm about to go start playing it again!

Just finished it too. Only two parts I didn't like: the music mini-game and the scorpion boss, but both were relatively quick.
I think I liked the overall world/level-design of part 2 better, but 3 was better at everything else. Now onto the challenges.

Not sure why everyone is hating on the scorpion boss. I just maxed out my metal glove dealies, broke all his legs and beat the living crap outta him. Wasn't that bad. Sadly, I think I'm nearing the end...

Scorpion was hella easy. Glad I'm not the only one and feel like I can chime in now
The babies were just there for a quick, invincible O dismemberment and a way to move from place to place without getting touched.

It wasn't that the Scorpion was tough, it was just a lame, boring boss fight - and the flying section towards the end of the fight was needlessly frustrating.

Just about to finish II. F'ing amazing game...and some tougher puzzles than I remember.
It also looks pretty damn good on PS3. The cutscenes in II are at least watchable, where they were painful to look at in the first game, and the game proper could easily pass for a PS3-native game.

Oh when I finally got it done right I was jumping up and down off the couch. But I was like "This didn't have to be here!"

I've completely upgraded my Blades of Exile and plan on upgrading Nemean Cestus next.
Are there any other weapons I should also work on? The Claws of Hades seem pointless when I already have the Blades.
And Kevin Sorbo voices Hercules? Awesome

I found Ares to be the biggest design "flaw". I'm guessing that it wasn't so bad if you played with the sword during the game and knew how to use it, but taking away your blades and making you fight the final boss with an unfamiliar weapon is doo-doo...especially when he's spamming you with unblockable attacks.
I can't believe how much I'm loving II though. It has spot-on gameplay/presentation/difficulty/puzzles etc. I do have a memory of an irritating QTE at the end though...not looking forward to that.

'Irritating' is a bit of an understatement.
Doesn't the Collection already have it's own thread for discussion?

I remember it being rivaled only by the knife-fight in RE4 for scenes I never want to see again. It's actually probably the reason I don't remember the game being as good as it is. I put it down angry.
Probably...wanna talk about Borderlands?
Seriously, I'm just doing my homework for 3, and it seems to be where all of the discussion for GOW is. As somebody who enjoys the story and puzzles more than the combat, I'll be interested in the inevitable comparisons between 2 and 3.

The finale for 2 is pretty simple if you have the reflexes of a housefly on angel dust and are blessed with the ability to see the future. It definitely took a little of the luster off the game for me. "Wow, what a great cutsce - DEAD. Oops, I better play closer attention next ti - DEAD. Okay, now I'm rea - DEAD." I beat it after the 15th try or so, but I was doing my best "annoyed Curly" impression all the while.
Finished 3 the night before last, and I agree with others in that 2 might be better but 3 does almost everything right. I had as much of a blast playing it as I have any game that I can remember playing recently.
