Re: Borderlands

Level 28 and over 20 hours in. You really start to slow down on your leveling later in the game. One complaint I have is I wish there were more indoor levels. Early on one of the best levels happens inside, and since then there really has not been anything like it.

LOVE this game though.

Wow, I'm at 29 with about 12 hours, all solo. I am definitely hooked on this game. I got it on Thursday and its been pretty much the only thing I've played

Re: Borderlands

One thing that is irritating me is all the damn glitched achievements. So far, there are 4 that I should've gotten that I haven't, and won't be able to until they patch it or I start a new character. Gearbox has already responded at least and said they have a fix, but no ETA on when it will be released.

+1 All ammo that is needed should be picked up automatically rather than having to press a button.

Re: Borderlands

I'm at level 29, not sure how many hours, but I've been doing every single mission I can find. Judging by the achievement list, I still have a sizable number of "main" quests to do still.

What achievements are glitching for you guys? Everything I should have, I have.

Try sitting further away from the TV -- sometimes it helps if the game is a smaller portion of your field of vision.

I don't have the achievements for running over people and selling guns...both are well in the hundreds.

Strange ... both achievements registered for me with no problem.

Re: Borderlands

Well they claim to know what the problem is, and will fix it...no big deal, I plan on starting a new character after I beat this to play coop, and it should unlock then. Level 32 now by the way.

I see this as being a problem in co-op though, as a lot of times ammo needs to be shared.

The ones that have glitched for me are 3 of the weapon kill ones and the sell 50 guns.

I don't know if this is specific to the Soldier class, but I have a class mod that gives +8 to team ammo regeneration. It basically regens my ammo so quickly, that I dont ever need to pick up any ammo except for grenades (which my turret regenerates anyway)

I have heard that as a reason at the official site, but it seems simple enough to me to just adjust it when you play coop. Problem solved. If they can program a game this complex, I would think a simple bit of code so that when you play coop you have to pick up ammo and when you play single it picks up automatically.

Re: Borderlands

It's Y on the 360, which I guess would be Triangle on the PS3. There should be a set of icons above the mission list that act as "tabs" for that with a picture of the button next to them on how to toggle.

Re: Borderlands

picked up on Sunday as part of the BB B2G1 sale and so far I'm really digging it. I think I'm a level 11 hunter. I wouldn't compare it to PSO - its a FPS first and foremost but has some RPG/MMO elements. weapon modifiers and you have skill points that you get as you level up but its limited.

It is not like PSO (which is a snooze fest). It reminds me a lot of Fallout 3, with Crackdown like graphics. It is way more action packed than F3, with tons of loot/upgrade and miniquest. This game really surprised me on how addictive it is.
