If they can get it closer to looking like the illustration on the HUD, the design will be perfect.

I LOVE the Mickey redesign. Awesome.

I know it's lo-res and only a few shots, but I'm disappointed in the screen shots(shocker!). The concept art delivers far more than the stills. I was hoping for something along the lines of a more colorful 9. These simply look like Super Mario(or any typical 3D platformer) with a Disney skin. The character designs are superb though.

Still excited for it though.

Yeah they do still have them even though they changed the ride. I think it was the absolute worst ride "update". They took a beloved ride through imagination and watered it down to really cheesy sight gags and no Figment. Then after a lot or protests they put him back in and advertised it as "now with more Figment!" It's better then the initial updated ride but still not nearly as good as the original.

I read that. Pretty funny. Al was probably worth more in the short term, but Oswald has the potential to be worth more long after Al is pushing up daisies.

Yeah, that was a couple of years back when NBC acquired the rights to NFL games. ABC sent Al Michaels for Oswald. I remember when the Oswald Disney Treasure was released reading some higher up at Disney mentioning that the DVDs was only the start and that we should be expecting to see more of him in the upcoming years.

I loved that story when it happened. While it's true that Disney has plans for Oswald that may last decades, the simple fact was that Oswald was far more important to Disney than it ever was to Universal -- if they hadn't done ANYTHING with the character in 80 years, it's pretty clear that they won't miss the intellectual property much.
