I like the concept of painting, but I hope it works better than Okami. I only played the Wii version and sometimes it would be incredibly frustrating to paint the symbols as the movements wouldn't register properly. However I still loved Okami so I'll definitely check this out.

I do like the idea of forgotten characters and properties. Like being inside The Nothing from They Neverending Story.
In addition to Super Mario Sunshine and Okami, I also see a little overlap with da Blob.

Regardless, it sounds interesting, and as I've said before ... Warren Spector.

Does this mean we finally get to meet Huey, Dewey and Louie's real father?

I still miss the People Mover. Here's hoping for a Captain EO level as well.

The PS2 version was pretty much perfect in that regard, sometimes it turns out an analog stick really is better.

This game is a great idea and I hope it turns out well. I'd love an excuse to actually use the Wii again.

Wow. This game sounds great. 2010 looks to be a great year for games. And If it's a success, they can make a sequel for the rumored Wii 2/hd console

We still have it here in sunny central Florida.

Game sounds interesting. I don't have a Wii, but if this game is somehow mindblowingly awesome I may buy a Wii for this game.

That's Mickey from Kingdom Hearts 2.

Unless this game uses Keyblades too...

The more I see this, especially after reading the descriptive blur, I'm gonna dust off my wife's Wii next year and play this!

I still have a beach towel with Figment on it that I got in like 1984....is that character still used in Epcot? I haven't been back to WDW since like 1990 or 1991....

Yeah, I might consider it too. But I kind of doubt it.

Is there any chance this could get ported, since the motion controllers are coming to the other systems?

Re: Epic Mickey Wii / Fall 2010

I was googling around a bit and found this blog listing 11 forgotten Disney characters. I think Professor Owl could be sweet in this:

Clarabelle Cow is very prominent on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. The others in that list are all ripe. Alice is kinda creepy!

Re: Epic Mickey Wii / Fall 2010

I would say Peter Pig is a lock as well. And José Carioca & Panchito Pistoles could be really cool if they are eviled up for the plot.
