Yes! millions of South Koreans are hoping for the same. Blizzard would be foolish not to cash in on their most popular franchise... one that is a pro sport in some countries.
But they may not be dissapointed in a spin-off.

Someone on my WoW server was saying his friend got a copy of a Diablo 3 beta which is probably BS as far as the beta goes but the possibility of Diablo 3 could be true.

Even if Blizzard has a Starcraft MMO planned (which they previously said they were not going to do) they would probably do Starcraft 2 to set it up much like how WC3 & TFT setup WoW. Think about it. It's been ten years since Starcraft was released. There's a whole new generation of gamers for them to bring into Starcraft before releasing a new MMO. And as someone else pointed out the reveal is being done in Korea where Starcraft is huge so I doubt its Diablo or another Warcraft.

My money is on Starcraft 2. If I'm wrong then I'm wrong, but I doubt it.

Just for the record my vote is Starcraft II: RTS. I think it's gotta be considering the locale they've chosen, the place will go nuts. As long as the game isn't a system hog I'd be interested (the old Starcraft never really pressed my system if I recall). It's been a long time though, 11 years?

I think a World of Starcraft is coming, but not till after Starcraft II as Crashnburn said.

google search reveals they are hiring MMO developers and by past history we'll see this game on the shelves around 2010 with 3 6 month delays in in between
