Was I the only one afraid that Harmonix would turn "My Name is Jonas" into strum city ala "Snow?" I'm very glad to see they went the HOPO route for the verses. Hopefully I can shut down a bit early and play these tracks soon.

I redeemed the 70 or so for tracks I needed right away and they were all winners. I redeemed the rest (35) the other day and it "said" 30 were winners, when it was actually only 24.

Man, the KISS songs are harder than I thought they would be. The only one I got through on the first try was Parasite, and I'm yet to get through Deuce. The songs are great live and they have some good crowd shots to compliment the 'live feeling'. What a blast to play the songs, especially since my RB band is...KISS:

100,000 Years is a super duper challenge on Expert Drums! I can only make it about 40% through the song at this point.

Out Here All Night is a lot of fun and also fairly tough. I tried a few times and failed around 85% each time. I need to practice that one a bit.

did you try O vs 0? I had a cap with 2 of those, and they looked exactly the same, but one was an 0 and one was an O.

Thats crazy. They should have taken notes from Coke rewards. O or 0 is the same. You can put either in and it goes.

I had a cap that had an M, but it looked exactly like an H (or possibly vice-versa) took me 4 tries before I tried H and got it to take.

Well, I am glad I got almost all of my tops in while things were still guaranteed....
I went 97 for 97 over the last few weeks, then I played my 98th one on 7/27 (which was my 6th code for that day), and I got the usual "You've won" screen, but then found a "Try Again" result in the My Account section.....
I have five more tops here to enter, plus a sixth one that I am now currently drinking from...was fun while it lasted, but no more guaranteed winners means no more trips to the Dollar Tree for me!

It was almost all from Diet bottles....and I usually just buy and drink store brand (Kroger) two liters of diet sodas (many different flavors)....
I justified it to the wife this way...sure, ounce for ounce the soda was more expensive, but you get free songs and Wii points with your purchase!

How do you redeem to actually 'get' the songs? I only have 4 wins, but I haven't tried to cash them in for an actual song yet because I already have all of the songs I'm interested in. Do they show up in your profile when you play RB, or do you do it on their site?

After you pick your song, they give you a code which can be redeemed on XBL or PSN for the free DLC, and you put it in on your system and download it. I guess the Wii is different, because it doesn't support redeeming codes for free DLC, so it just awards you Wii points somehow (which you don't actually have to use to download the Rock Band song that you requested, you can use it for anything in the store).
