I copied and pasted from buy.com proper, don't know why it looks like that. I redid it again (with a short url that has mostly buy.com slash and the product ID), and it keeps getting converted into that.

Well, DVDTalk is automatically adding it, so it must be right, it is just a different code than on http://www.dvdtalk.com/support.html. One might be IBs and one Geoff's?

Yes, you can have a max of 3 years. I picked one up earlier today... Hopefully buy.com has plenty of stock as they still haven't pulled it from their site....

I just nabbed one. That makes me good through December of next year. That gives me two years to find a better or equally good deal without dropping another $30 today.

I picked up one. I've always gotten it for $30 (it happens at least once a year), except my first year I bought the Gold Vision Pack. I can't afford anything more than $30 though. 13 months will clear me to June of 2010 though.

I'm not sure. I have read stories about someone doing that it, and it overwrote the previous card, not sure if thats the case.

Yes the codes can be stacked extending your end date by another 13 months (up to 3 years... 39 months, maybe?).

No the codes don't expire, but if you're not going to sell the code anyway, there's no reason not to put it in now and toss the card.

I bought this for just $1 less last summer. No shipping or sales tax. $28.99 was the price after $10 GCO discount.

I see no expiration date on the card or packaging itself.

Hoping this, the buy.com deal, and bb's $25 off with controller purchase is a sign of a universal price drop. Not holding my breath, though.

Ordered from walmart. I live one mile away and we go there at least 2ce a week so I'll just pick it up rather than waiting for it to ship.
My first year of Gold was from the Vision pack I got a deal on, and I got my wife the Messenger kit for Christmas so we don't need another typey thing or yet another headset or copy of PGR4.
The messenger kit was a good deal though, esp. with 30% cashback.
