Mario Kart GP (Arcade)
I just got Mario Kart Wii and beat Mario Kart Double Dash!, so I'm back to regularly playing one of my favorite games of all-time. I was looking up unlockables when I stumbled upon Mario Kart GP.
This blew my mind. First of all, the whole Triforce Namco/Sega/Nintendo thing threw me, so seeing Pac-Man in a Kart did, too. (I read somewhere this is the reason it's in Japan, primarily.) Also, over 100 items in the prize boxes was awesome, as well as the 24 courses. (Rainbow Stage has 4 Rainbow courses??? Awesome.)
I would love to buy one of these machines, but $18,000 is a bit steep. I heard of some at various arcades, so picking up a used one would be killer, but I have no idea where these rare machines would even be.
Has anyone here played it? Where can you even find one of these?

I saw this for the first time at an arcade on the Vegas strip. Don't remember where it was, but they had an all day option that was maybe $20-$50. I found the arcade on the last day of my trip. Otherwise, I would've bought an all day pass and stayed there all day. At least, I would've gotten my money's worth, instead of losing the same amount in a matter of minutes.

I manage at a locally owned Chucky Cheese-esque kids facility and our namco rep surprised us last month with this. I had no idea pac-man was in any mario kart game, but the game itself is so easy to waste time on, plus it's got a built-in-camera that snaps your picture so you can see how awesome you look as you cross the finish line, pretty slick feature

This game gets boring quick!
The two we have at the office have sat dormant almost all the time since our Kartathon ended. I'd much rather have a SFIV machine up there. That would probably get played at least 12 hours a day by the staff.

Our local Walmart has one of these machines in its mini-arcade at the front of the store. I tried it, but someone had already jerked so hard on the steering wheel that it had zero sensitivity. It would be fun to play with properly working equipment.
