All the map packs should be free as part of the Halo games going Backwards Compatible, according to Microsoft's announcement.

Edit: Temptation won.
I'm fighting that temptation myself. If I had the steelbook, I would just keep a physical copy, but that's going for about $30 on the low end. So I am having a hard time rationalizing that or keeping my GOTY physical copy. The only thing is I do have a lot of Xbox OG and 360 LOTR physical games, and it's a trend thing of sorts. I dunno, lol.

Do you want to spend $4 so you don't have to get up and swap games?

That's pretty much what it comes down to.

Is Mordor worth it for someone who isn't familiar with LOTR or The Hobbit trilogies? I watched the former many years ago, but never read or watched the latter.

Do you like "fun?"

It's set in the LOTR universe but that's about as much as you need to know. It is a self contained story that has little to nothing to do with the films.

There were a bunch of us, myself included, that really loved Morder even though we weren't big fans of LOTR.

I played through the game and all the DLC and had a blast. Fully worth the $20 I spent on it, so $4 is a no brainer.

If Amazon US has a similar deal to this UK one, I'm in - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B073K37N..._81eb_99ba12af

Let's see if this works to the video game stuff -

Nothing there really stands out for me to buy, but we'll see.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

It looks like the biggest deal of the day is the XB1 S console + extra controller + recharge kit + Forza 6 + Halo 5 + Recore for $240

No PS4 Pro deals, but they do have the Uncharted 4 slim bundle for $229 with a digital code for The Last of Us Remastered

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

As usual the Amazon Prime deals are terrible. That Uncharted 4 slim bundle has been around $230-240 pretty regularly over the last few months. I almost bit on it a few times before picking up the gold one.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

I know folks on CAG/NeoGAF were saying some of the $6 games were shipping. I'm bummed I missed out on Crash and Kingdom Hearts.

PS4 games
Kingdom Hearts 2.8 + Crash Bandicoot N. Sane -- total $18.32
Digimon World - $6

DS3
Hey! Pikmin (preorder) - $8

There were a lot of others

There really was no reason or rhyme to it, a lot of people were getting different prices, even in the $5 range.

Those weren't the best deals, reports of Star Wars Legos were glitched as well. $500 Deathstar set was under $190

My invoice for KH2.8 and Crash:
Order Summary
Item(s) Subtotal: $74.87
Shipping & Handling: $0.00
Prime Savings: -$7.89
Prime Savings: -$18.72
Prime Savings: -$14.97
Prime Savings: -$14.97

Total before tax: $18.32
Estimated tax to be collected: $0.00

Grand Total: $18.32

Scheduled for delivery tomorrow

Looks like Hey! Pikmin is $8 off which puts it the same price as Best Buy's GCU price.

Haven't seen much else I've been interested in.

Best Buy is having a Black Friday in July sale, and today is "preview" day for Elite/Elite Plus reward members. I ended up getting a couple PS VR titles, and finally grabbed the Switch version of Puyo Puyo Tetris.

Wild lands is like $27.99. Considering at that price but I know if I wait a few more months, it will be like $20 or lower.
