I tried Helldivers and liked it but you really need 2-4 because it does start becoming a real pain. I have the base version and barely touched it because I couldn't find anyone to play with.

FWIW...you ought to finish the COD campaign because it opens up the Nightmare Campaign....everyone are Zombies and you get random weapons...it's a blast but I did the first one which is sort of random but takes parts of the original and makes a "Zombie" one out of it.

Helldivers: Looks like there is online matchmaking? So can group with randoms.

Yeah rare replay and gears of war are like 5 bucks more but Forza, IIRC, is much more.

Square-Enix are having a sale, but a lot of the interesting games you have to be on a wait list for.

Rare Replay is down to $19.49 on the Xbox Marketplace.

Sold! Was hoping for cheaper but I'll take it. Finally get to use some of those 1600 point cards from a few years ago.

I ordered one from Wal-Mart this week for the same price. I think just about every major retailer has them on sale for that price or cheaper. I have to wait until Christmas to play it but I'm looking forward to it.

PSN has AC: Syndicate for $35. There's also a 10 % off any game purchase. Applied it and final total came to $32.

They also charge 8/9 bucks to ship, kinda kills things. Had 3 titles, but decided to hold off and see if there is anything better.

Swung by Walmart to scope out the madness and found lone copies of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster and Dying Light for $15 each. Also picked up the exclusive modern color Mario amiibo. Didn't get stabbed or mugged, so I walked out happy.

For some reason the digital downloads of FF X/X2 and more significantly, Dragon Quest Heroes, are less than 20 bucks on Amazon. Credit to kickrockz713 on CAG.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Broke down and ordered the Holiday bundle via the MS Store deal. I would have rather picked up the Tomb Raider bundle but I had to skip it due to it being digital and not disc. I'll just return the Gears game I ordered from Best Buy.

Picked up Dying Light for $15 at Wal-Mart last night. Only copy they had left from what I could tell.

Only a few hours left, but Amazon has the Sennheiser HD 598 headphones for $95. I read that they make good gaming headsets if you don't mind buying some stuff separately (a mic, and maybe an Astro MixAmp or Turtle Beach DSS).

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Skimmed the last couple of pages. Did anyone here try to get the Xbone deal with Gears, Fallout, and the extra controller from Dell for 299? I signed in at 4:58 central and kept hitting refresh, when it finally showed I clicked get the deal at 5:01 and then add to cart and was told the deal expired. What a joke.
