Does Wal-Mart match prices from their website in the store? I've tried before, and they've said some crap about not being able to match the site....which makes no sense....anyone have any luck?

Nope. Tried a few days ago with the XBOX LIVE cards.

Why don't you do the site to store pickup?

It's 97 cents to ship to home. Checking my email inbox, printing a sheet out, driving to Wal-Mart, parking and waiting in CS line to pick up a card isn't worth saving 97 cents to me.

Limited edition red wireless 360 controller with rechargeable kit $42.99 (free shipping). It's about $15 cheaper than anywhere else......or like getting the kit for $3.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Picked up the 360 wireless adapter at Buy.com for $70. I know that's still too expensive, but I like that it runs off the power from the 360 and so I can now free up a plug in my entertainment center.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Picked up both the controller/charger and wireless adapter. One less cable! Now I can move the router and cable modem box to another room and maybe finally be able to manage the cables in my entertainment center.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

I like the controller A LOT, more than I thought I would. And now I can get rid not only of the 360 cable, but I can stick the router and cable modem in another room that has less stuff in it. Got rid of the Tivo, so my entertainment center now has just the TV, 360, and PS3, and only 5 cables (3 power, 2 HDMI). Sweet

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

This is probably YMMV, but the Circuit City here marked down quite a few games to 9.99. Not just stuff from the clearance a couple weeks ago, but stuff like several Cabela games, Hellboy: Science of Evil, the two older Tomb Raider games for 360, Alone in the Dark, Deadliest Catch, and some others. Still 10% off only, but some decent deals if you're after these games.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

I saw some dude bought Endwar, COD:World at War and Gears of War 2 for the XBox 360 at Circuit City for 59.99 minus 10% off. I am not sure if he knows that is still expensive for those games especially if you have to pay tax. I didn't have the heart to tell him that Amazon had those games for 10 bucks cheaper and no tax.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

It is kind of sad how 10% off makes a good portion of the general population go shopping.

Well.... when people drive long distances to avoid a 5% sales tax... it's not really that surprising...

Okami - Wii @ CC for $12 @ %40 off. It's still listed at $40 so it must have been dropped to $20 without a change in label.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Amazon has Dark Sector for $1.49. Just picked it up 2 days ago for the 360, about halfway through, and having a pretty good time with it.
