I remember a site awhile back that kept up with all the best pre-order deals. You could pick a game and it would show which retailer had what type of bonus. Does anyone know if such site is still out there or not? I tried a search but cannot find it or one with current up-to-date information.

Thanks to you posting this... I too got in on this deal. Instead of Crysis I got Remember Me. Still need DR2. But couldn't pass up on 3.

I am assuming you were referring to back when amazon and walmart would battle it out with preorder bonus credit? Most stores don't do that anymore. Best Buy still does it for some titles.

For GCU members, you can grab God Of War Ascension for $4.99 at Best Buy after using your code or coupon. It looks like it might be today only.

Where did you get the code/coupon? Was it in an email or something?

Yeah, every month an e mail is sent out about the latest digital being available and there is a link to print out the coupons. On the coupons, there is also a code if you want to order online instead.

Do you know where I would contact about getting these coupons? I've been a member since the program started and I haven't received any coupons through email yet.

Skylanders Swap Force for $32.49. Got it for $39.99 a few months ago. Seems like a great price: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...DZM2I/34a6-20/

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

I read up about this on CAG and it seems like you only get the digital coupons if you maintained a GCU membership from back when they were still doing the @Gamer magazine. I let my membership lapse at one point, so I wouldn't have gotten the email.

It's a gateway drug (just a warning for those who still haven't picked it up).

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

I never let my membership lapse, yet I am not among the ones who get the digital mag and coupons.
I complained about it on BB's boards and a rep replied explaining why but I honestly don't even remember why some still get them and some don't.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Titanfall 36.99 on Amazon today only. Why do I buy games at release again?

edited to add: I see I was beaten to the punch in the Titanfall thread... but those guys already all have Titanfall, right?

Eh, it's like paying $50 for Killzone (which is paying too much) and getting Knack for free (which is almost too much as well).
