That can't be right. Every other game on the $15 list is a year+ old. I bet it's the original DC and Kinect Sports games.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

The only thing that worries me about BF at Amazon is that they've seriously slacked off in their competitiveness over the past year when it comes to both sale prices and pre-order deals. They've lost a number of sales from just me personally, and I know I'm not alone since there's so much talk of KMart here. I'm hoping for the best from them, but I'm prepared to be as disappointed as I've been for most of this year thus far.

That's what I thought at first. But in the ad, both the sequels are pictured.

Arkham City will also be $30 at Best Buy. That ensures that I won't have to go to Wal-mart this year.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

The good thing about Wal-mart is that they will match any competitor's Black Friday ad. Saved my wife loads of time and travel the last couple of years for the things we couldn't pick up on Amazon.

But do they have a decent supply for Amazon, or do you have to hope to get it in your shopping cart within the first 27 seconds it's available?

Anyone hear of any Wii hardware sales for black friday? (besides the blue one at walmart)? Looking to pick up the new version that comes with super mario bros (not kart).

Target and Best Buy posted their BFads today and neither had any Wii hardware listed. $99 at WalMart will probably be your best bet as far as price.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Suprised no one has mentioned in the BB ad the 3 month cards are only $7.99, works out to a 1 year for only $32. And then at Target they have it listed at $10, but mention there are many more items at this price which has me wondering about 1600 point cards perhaps.

Just an FYI though, I'm pretty sure that is the new version of that console that dropped the backward compatibility with Gamecube games.

Cancelled my pre-order for AC: Revelations. I can wait a few days to save $25.

What do you guys think of the BF sale? I say its pretty shitty, not too much to choose from. I hope Amazon has some surprises like last year with Demon Souls, Resident Evil 5, etc

I'm so out of the loop with Nintendo I had no idea they even did that.

Next somebody will claim there's a new Zelda game this month.

Actually just the opposite. I can't remember the last time stores offered that many recent high profile releases for $30 or less on BF (Battlefield 3, Forza 4, Gears 3, Uncharted 3, Batman AC, etc) Even though I have all of those, I think it's a great deal with the system bundles they are offering as well. It's going to be one hell of an Xmas for some kids out there

Same here. I'm still rocking a launch 60GB that might finally warrant an upgrade. And bundling it with those two games sounds like it should seal the deal. Hopefully Amazon matches as well since it sounds like everyone else has the same bundle for that price.

The $30 is very cool especially cuz theyre just came out, but Im hesitant with all the DLC thats there and I want it all. I was hoping like Red Dead goty would be $15, etc. More of a variety.

Yea Im sporting my 80GB fatty from 08 and I want to get a huge TV so Id move the 47 inch to the bed room... maybe a PS3 would go good with it...

It wasn't bad last time. I only bought NFS Hot Pursuit and Assassin's Creed Brotherhood last year and both I was able to buy from the app on my iPhone.

Just FYI, that is exactly $4.80 more than the last time it was on sale on Steam. You might want to wait and see what the Holiday sale holds for this title...

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Yep, picked up a copy of AC:Revolution on my lunch for $39.96 at Walmart, then ran over to Kmart to use my $50 coupon from last week to pick up Rayman Origins and Saints Row 3 for $40.

I'll be snagging Zelda at Kmart Sunday and then using that $20 coupon to pick up Battlefield 3 for $15 on Black Friday. There are a lot of fantastic deals going on this month. When it's all said and done, I'll have spent $400 for AC:Revolution, Lego Harry Potter 5-7, Uncharted 3, R&C:All 4 One, COD:MW3, ES:Skyrim, Mario 3D, Rayman Origins, Saints Row 3, Zelda:SS, Battlefield 3, Brink, Duke Nukem Forever, Homefront, Star Wars:FU2 and Fear 3. My gaming schedule is now full through the first half of 2012.
