I'll bite at $2.99. It's a nice price and not on the level of horse armor.

Yeah, me too. It may even inspire me to start on a new Christmas-themed level.

I've been away from my LBP for over a month now and am sad.

I do have interesting news to report:
There is a MGS level pack coming out with new trophies and it looks like some actualy levels to play. One of the trophies is for beating the REX boss, so I can't imagine this just being a construction pack like the aforementioned Xmas pack.

The pack also comes with Snake, Raiden, and some other characters I don't know since I've never played the series.

This is gonna be phat! I can't wait to try the Paintinator! Think about all the combat-based levels people will build now!

$5.99 seems like a steal for all that content. This is a definite purchase.

So the instrumental soundtrack has hit iTunes, if anyone is interested.

Look up 'Little Big Planet: Little Big Music Musical".

I'm laughing so hard I'm in tears -- that ad was GREAT!

I will most certainly get that Metal Gear pack. That's a heck of a lot of content and looks fun as hell.

Yessiree! I downloaded it today and I have to say it's loads of fun. And YES, it does come with playable levels that are challenging and fun! If they keep delivering packs like this, this game will have greater longevity. I even used the Paintinator in an empty level and just blasted away at things to see how they'd react!

The MGS level pack is fantastic. The paint gun in particular is really fun to play with. I think I'm going to incorporate it into my Christmas level.

The MGS costumes are the best yet IMO but I still can't bring myself to buy them. Fortunately you can get an MGS soldier outfit by playing the story levels.

I'll be damned if I'll pay for a whole lot of silly costumes, but somehow I figured I had to get old Snake. As much as I hate to admit it, it's friggin awesome. I love how the bandana waves in the breeze as you jump.

Someone on the Cool Levels came up with 52 home made costumes including Snake, Meryl, Otacon and many other video game characters. I had thought he'd be giving them away, but when I played the level it was just showing them off. Did I miss something? I'd love to get those costumes if I could..

The Paintinator is just awesome. Nothing like defacing a beautiful level with blotches of paint.
How did they incorperate the new levels? The download is only 1500 KB in size, but there's a 60 MB update I went through. Are the new levels included in the update but unlocked in the download? That's what I'm guessing.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but you guys HAVE TO try out the user-created level called "Little Dead Space*", obviously based on Dead Space. You'll especially get a kick out of it if you've played Dead Space, as it recreated a lot of that game's scenarios in a LBP manner. But even if you've never played DS, it's still one of the best LBP levels you'll play, which includes the story levels and then new MGS levels.

*correction - it's called "LittleBig Dead Space", I think...

Although... for some reason, I have aced the levels, and gotten almost all the goods... but for some reason it won't "save" it... when, I open the levels, all the levels are locked again...

Weird...

I read some where that the costume codes from Gamestop for Kratos, Medusa and, Minotaur can reused up to 5 times. If thats true, I can share my code with 4 other DVDtalk friends.

Cool. If you have any left, I'd be interested.
