Replacing Instruction Booklets?

Hey everybody!

I have a quick question for the gaming forum:

What is the best method for finding or buying replacment instruction booklets for games? I've been buying up a lot of older Xbox, PS2, and Gamecube games lately for really cheap prices. It's been fun, but I'd like to replace the missing instruction booklets for some of the games. I like having a complete game on my shelf and I do enjoy reading the booklets too.

I've tried ebay and gamebooklets.com. The gamebooklets site is great, but they often are missing the ones I need. Ebay is usually a ripoff and wants 3-5 bucks for the booklet and 6-7 dollars to ship it! Considering that a lot of the games I buy are under 5 bucks to begin with, it's hard to justify spending more on the booklet than the game...lol...

Does anyone have any tips?

Thanks!

Erik

Talk with your local BBV or other rental places to see if they have extra booklets they are willing to get rid of. They might shoot you down but you should still walk out with your life. You could even contact the game publishers themselves and explain that you bought some used games for a family member and would like to have (purchase) some replacement instruction booklets.

not really a solution, but gamefly usually has the main instructions on each game's description page, which you can print.

Thanks guys! I bought four more games tonight and 2 are missing the booklets, so I'll be hunting. For some reason it drives me nuts when the game is not complete. A lot of rental stores are clearing out PS2, GC, and Xbox around me at 4.99 each or buy one get one free, so I've picked up a bunch of great titles for dirt cheap

I have ordered from this site before as they have good prices and have cheap shipping to Canada. They are missing a number of the booklets I need, but I've emailed them with a request for the ones I'm missing so maybe they will be able to track them down for me.

I have not heard back from Game Booklets yet by email. The booklets I most want are:

Cold Fear - Xbox
Tomb Raider Legends - Xbox
Onimusha 4 - PS2

If anyone has them and would part with them, I'll be happy to buy them...
