It doesn't really make sense for them to give away songs that would sell easily as DLC or could be put in a sequel. I'm not expecting too much from the 20 freebies.

Offspring Yea! But where are the other two tracks? Wasn't the leaked pack 5 or 6 tracks? I think one ended up being in RB2.

Out of the others I'm definitely down for Thorogood. I'll probably grab Static-X as well, it's a fun tune. I'll have to listen to the others.

Did Harmonix ever say the 20 DLC tracks weren't going to be by Sprode or Wacky Detergents or Bobby Lee and the Thriftstore Rhinestone Cowboys or whatever bullshit "bonus" artists were in RB1 and GH2?

They haven't said anything other than it's coming and it won't be artists that are on the RB2 disc.

I'm in for the Offspring tracks, Screaming Trees, Thurgood, and Static-X. Yeah!

Check the leaderboards again, chief.

Please don't beat my score again. I'm sick of playing Spoonman.

I thought there was a quote at one point that said that the songs were going to be well-known songs from well-known artists. I could be misremembering though.

Yeah, an article somewhere mentioned some/most/all of them were basically just songs they didn't have finished in time to put on disc, and that's why they were free...whether they were from bands like The Bus mentioned () or good bands, not sure.

Great week again for DLC...I wish they had something other than Pretty Fly in there, and hope we get The Kids Aren't Alright still at some point.

Also in for Thorogood and Free for sure, never heard Screaming Trees before but I like the sound of it, and maybe Static X if I'm in a shitty mood.

They picked the wrong Rise Against and Harvey Danger songs, but I am going to snag all the tracks. Great week.

I have a feeling the 20 free tracks will be a lot of leftovers from GH 1 and 80's that they already more or less have charted.

If they do more revisiting of the old games, I'd love them to grab the southern rock stuff. Jessica, Freebird, and Hold on Loosely.

I'll try as soon as I get home. How much further ahead are you? I played on Hard and had 99% for each song...and I don't think I can do those on sexpert yet.

I just listened to it & I like it. I'll be grabbing all but the Harvey song and maybe the Trees song, unless it (they) end up being free for DLing the entire pack. I just listened to Gone Away & I never knew that was Offspring, I like that song alot. Good week, and Crue the week after!!

^ There will be no discount on the 6 non-Offspring singles, so don't expect Harvey or Screaming Trees to come along with the other 4 for free.

Against Me! is a must buy for me - would love to see a few more tracks from them. Getting The Offspring pack, All Right Now and probably Bad to the Bone... SOLID week!

I practiced some expert GH3 & Aerosmith before playing RB2 and man, what a difference. RB is really slow compared to the GH games. I was hitting everything early for a couple songs until I got used to it.

Ya know, I was watching a youtube vid of rabbit and I thought to myself...he reads these forums and sees all of us talking about struggling through songs, 'how in the Hell do you get through this or that?', or woohoo, I got through this song... His only problem seems to be not getting an FC 100%, lol. I feel so small.
