I've been playing Dive Kick. Its really good. The two button controls are perfect for anyone intrigued by fighting games, but intimidated by complex controls.

Hey, they were on a roll there for a while with Payday 2, Remember Me, Metro Last Light. That was like a 3 game streak!

Good list for me, I don't have any of them. Actually, the first Batman game is still sitting in my to-play pile.

PlayStation Plus: Mercenary Kings and Batman Arkham City for Members
+ Posted by Kristine Steimer on Mar 31, 2014 // Sr. Community Specialist
It’s time for cat cannons and batarangs! Starting tomorrow, PlayStation Plus members get Mercenary Kings on PS4 and Batman Arkham City on PS3. In Mercenary Kings, team up with your friends and take down an evil corporation called CLAW. Batman Arkham City is a critically acclaimed open-world title, netting a Metacritic score of 96. There are a lot of cool gadgets to use and lots of bad guys to beat down, all in the name of justice of course. A section of Gotham has been taken over by the criminally insane and it’s up to Bats to save the day.
This week for our Spring Fever sale you can pick up lots of Amazing Spider-Man content at a discount.
You can download Mercenary Kings and Batman Arkham City after PlayStation Store updates tomorrow, April 1st.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Mercenary Kings is probably the most "indie" of the PS4 freebies yet given how retro it is, but it sure looks like something I'd enjoy. I'm looking forward to checking it out. And I love Arkham City so much. I would absolutely double dip if they put Asylum and City in a two pack for PS4...or even a three pack with Origins. Give them PC graphics and take my money!
I know this is pretty much the "PS Plus Thread" now, but has anybody bought Steamworld Dig? I was thinking about getting either that or Fez, just to have a proper platformer on the console. Both are cross-buy with Vita as well, which is a plus.

Thanks.
I think I'm going to drop $20 on the pair (Steamworld and Fez) today. Will give me 3 2D platformers including Mercenary Kings for my PS4 and will give my kid a couple more games to play on his Vita.

This upcoming PSN game for PS4 looks promising:
There Came an Echo: Voice-controlled Strategy on PS4
+ Posted by Jason Wishnov on Apr 10, 2014 // Lead Designer, Iridium Studios
<object width="640" height="360"><param name="movie" value="//www.youtube.com/v/LTaeIBRXVvc?hl=en_US&version=3&rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="//www.youtube.com/v/LTaeIBRXVvc?hl=en_US&version=3&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>
Hey, PlayStation fans! Quick backstory: we were making this game, and market research showed us that people who own PS4s like games. After extensive trend analysis and writing numbers down on paper in the hopes of making it look like we knew basic mathematics, we made the executive decision to bring our title, There Came an Echo, over to the Sony side of town. There’s a trailer above, which you should probably watch, but if you didn’t, it’s okay, we’re cool.
There Came an Echo is, if you’ll pardon the torrent of hyphens, a voice-controlled squad-based real-time strategy game. You don’t play directly as the soldiers in the field, but rather as the tactical commander, issuing strategic orders via headset. Ever felt annoyed when someone in your earpiece told you what to do in a blockbuster, AAA first-person shooter? Well, now, you’re the someone in the earpiece. Some direct influences on the game include X-COM: Enemy Unknown and Tom Clancy’s EndWar.
A lot of you might feel a little antsy about voice recognition. And we understand! But we’d encourage you to turn on your Playstation 4 and give the basic OS voice commands a shot. (It was, in fact, this very process that initially convinced us to reach out to Sony!) But There Came an Echo goes a little farther with something we call “command aliasing”. Don’t like the default commands, like “fire” or “shields up”? You can enter in your own custom word or phrase for every existing unit and command in the game. Want to talk to your units using nothing but quotes from Zoolander? Done. And, for those who still aren’t sold (or just have a sleeping roommate), you can fully control the game with your standard DualShock 4, no problem.
There Came an Echo also has a heavy narrative focus. Your soldiers aren’t generic military types, but individuals, unaccustomed to combat, thrown into an unimaginable conflict over a technology very certain to change the world. You not only talk to them, but they to you; character development and motivation is a major focus for us. And, to that end, we’ve assembled a cast fit for Hollywood: Wil Wheaton and Ashly Burch headline, with industry veterans Yuri Lowenthal, Laura Bailey, Karen Strassman, Rachel Robinson, and Cindy Robinson rounding out the fantastic ensemble. We couldn’t be more excited to work with this incredible pool of talent. Well, maybe we could be, if they promise to bring Oreos to the recording sessions later this year. (Wil, I know you’re reading this. Seriously. Bring them.)
Our release date is still a little up in the air, but rest assured we’re working closely with Sony to finish our game and get it up onto the PlayStation Store as soon as possible. We hope you’re looking forward to the game!
You’ve all probably got a bunch of questions, comments, and hilarious jokes, so post ‘em in the comments below! We’ll be around, responding and judging your comedic abilities.

Thanks for the notice. I picked up four games, leaving a whopping thirty-five cents in my PSN wallet:
- Plants vs. Zombies (I really liked this on my Android phone a couple years back)
- Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse (never played a Sam & Max game but I've played Poker Night 2 a lot and they seem like funny, cool characters; they're the only ones at the table I don't really know.)
- Braid (looks interesting and even if it gets too hard or boring, it was only a buck)
- Super Stardust HD (reminds me of Super Mario Galaxy meets Galaga and I think my wife might like it)

There is a Super Stardust HD Bundle that is $14.99. I played it years ago and it was addictive..but...does that bundle have anything that I might actually want or like?
I won't get the bundle cuz it's way overpriced in comparison to JUST the game.

Super Stardust HD is just a really good twin-stick shooter. One of the first ( and certainly the first to move the surface from an overhead square or rectangle and onto a new play-surface -- in this case the atmosphere of a planet. The other unique twist was alternating between three weapons to shoot three different obstacles : it works well and is very intuitive. The game is made by Housemarque, who later made the excellent shooters Dead Nation, Outland and the PS4's outstanding Resogun. The game is well worth a dollar.
Snake, the bundle includes some other game modes, one of which is very fun using bombs only and also some sort of a multiplayer co-op mode I've never tried. But it's not necessary. The original game is all you need.
BTW : if you like the game, a version is available on the PS Vita and it's an outstanding handheld game as well.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Regarding the Flash Sale : It goes without saying that I already have almost everything offered there (except the PS2 games). Several have been PS Plus games over the years -- I seem to have all those Crash and Spyros games and seriously hope I didn't pay for all of them.
Anyway, I still picked up three I didn't yet own : Jurassic Park (given away with a one-year PS Plus purchase, but never as a PS Plus freebie, which I always resented), echochrome ii (almost certainly my last Move-required game purchase) and Urban Trials for PS3 (an inferior Trials clone -- the Vita version had gone free, but not the PS3 one).
As far as other recommendation for the sale, I'd certainly recommend picking up Tokyo Jungle which is an interesting animal simulator survival game. It's weird and Japanesey but also kind of clever and well worth a spin for a buck. Retro/Grade is a music rhythm game disguised as a Space Shooter in reverse. Clever concept and pretty well executed. Everyday Shooter is a more simplistic twin-stick shooter with an interactive musical component. Very indie and nothing special, but sure it's worth a buck. Sam and Max was a previous PSPlus freebie and is a pretty cool typical Tell Tale adventure game with good humor. Same goes for the Monkey Island remakes - a fun one-time playthrough.
I was never so crazy about Braid, but it is an artsy indie puzzle game that was very well received when it came out.
And PS Plus members : Be sure to grab the Mickey game right away : they went and made it the preorder bundle instead of just the remake. You get a nice Dynamic theme and the original Genesis version ( which has never been for sale separately on PSN)as well, but the bundle is available only for one or two weeks.

If there's still time to bite on Jurassic Park, do it. For 99 cents that game is a no brainer. It's goofy and the narrative is insane.
