Thanks! It's pretty rare when I pass on a game that's on sale for 200 points, but this game was one of those rare times.

+ Posted by Morgan Haro // Community Manager, PlayStation Digital Platforms

This is the week we’ve been waiting for as PS Vita officially joins the PlayStation Plus membership with the Instant Game Collection, which now delivers six PS Vita titles in addition to the lineup of 12 PS3 Games. Don’t forget that in addition to the free games that come with your membership, PS Plus also delivers PS Vita benefits such as discounts, online storage for game saves, Automatic Updates, and auto Trophy sync!

We’ve also got new PS3 free games for members, like the acclaimed Dungeon Defenders, great discounts on amazing games and a bonus PS Plus freebie! Read on to check out all the Plus content hitting this week when the PlayStation Store updates on November 20th.

Don’t have PlayStation Plus? Go to the PlayStation Store on your PS3 or click here to get access.
November 20th PlayStation Plus Update

Uncharted: Golden Abyss (PS Vita)

Free for Plus Members
Uncover the dark secret behind the 400-year-old massacre of a Spanish expedition and follow the murderous trail of an ancient and secret Spanish sect. Undiscovered temple ruins, vast karst caverns of Central America, legendary lost cities, fantastic action sequences, and of course, Mr. Nathan Drake himself bring this complete Uncharted experience to PS Vita.

Gravity Rush (PS Vita)

Free for Plus Members
Gain a new perspective as you take on the role of Kat, a strong-willed girl seeking the means to protect her future in a world that’s crumbling to pieces. Taking gravity into your own hands to deliver devastating attacks, uncover the secrets to your past and explore a mysterious world. One of my personal favorite PS Vita games is yours to play free with PS Plus.

WipEout 2048 (PS Vita)

Free for Plus Members
With PS Vita’s enhanced controls – including front touch, rear touch, and six-axis motion sensors, this entry into the venerable WipEout series is one of the best. Optimized for 23rd century racing, you can compete with up to 8 other players on 10 new tracks. Don’t forget to stay on top of those online leaderboards too!

Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack (PS Vita)

Free for Plus Members
One of the most unique and hilarious PS Vita titles also happens to be one of the best. A side-scrolling puzzle-platformer about an ornery mutant blob that, after being held captive in a lab that can only be described as something out of a retro sci-fi movie from the early ’50′s, escapes into the world and sets out on a path to consume everything. Use touch and the motion sensor functions combined with traditional analog stick controls to defeat the pathetic humans. Eat your way to freedom. It’s that fun.

Jet Set Radio (PS Vita)

Free for Plus Members
Tag, grind, and trick to the beat in SEGA’s hit game Jet Set Radio on PS Vita. Free for PS Plus members the same day it releases; fight for control of Tokyo-to, mark your turf with graffiti, tag walls, billboards, and even rival gang members! Perform tricks and flips on magnetically driven in-line skates, but watch out for the local police force. They’re not nice.

Final Fantasy Tactics (PS Vita, PSP)

Free for Plus Members
Originally released in 1998 on the original PlayStation, this first tactical RPG in the legendary Final Fantasy series, enthralled fans around the world with its unique artistic style and intricate storyline, and it’s certainly one of my top favorites of all time. A sublime strategy experience with an ever engrossing job system, tactical battles, tens of hours of gameplay, and remastered from the original, yours free with Plus.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

Nothing but some discounts for Playstation Plus this week. I do recommend Pinball Arcade for 50% off at $5 (not pictured below, but also part of the sale), especially for those with a Vita as well.

BTW : I also recommend anyone with Plus to get in on that Music Unlimited deal. You can stream from a HUGE library of songs and albums. I wouldn't have paid anywhere near the normal price for the service, but for $12 for a year it's a great bargain. Already paid for itself by convincing me not to get a few of the MP3 albums I was going to buy.

The new free PSN Game next week is Bioshock 2. This one, like Borderlands before it, is a game that anyone with even remote interest probably already has. Still, it's a pretty good game.

Short but sweet PS Plus Update:

I have SSF IV and Super SF IV on the 360. I'd be damned before I paid for the same game a third time, but for free and for a different system? Sure. And while Rochard is nothing too special, but I bought it and thought it was okay.

Is there a fast way to download a list of stuff from your history? I redeemed a bunch of codes via the website and didn't really enjoy going to each item and waiting for the process to download each one... Am I missing some sort of command that simplifies this? I had maybe 30-40 items that I had to individually download and it was a pain in the ass. On the 360 it just automatically goes to your download queue.

Not yet. But apparently in Europe (or Asia) they're testing an online PSN store a la xbox.com where you can buy stuff or queue stuff up to download next time you turn on. No date on when it's coming to the US.

Darn. Just bought LBP last week from Amazon.

And I'm interested in Escape Plan but I can almost guarantee it'll be free in the next month or two.

This week PS Plus will be getting Anomaly : Warzone Earth for free. I got it on XBLA for $2 or $3 not that long ago. It's a pretty good download game. Nothing too special, but if you don't have it, it's worth picking up now.

Also there's another sale starting tomorrow, this one on Sega games:

I think I'll pick up LBP and Rayman Vita games. At some point, I'll have to break down and get the 32GB card though so I can load them on the Vita. I'm hoping to finish Uncharted so I can load something else on my 4GB card, but I'll continue to have the problem of a small selection of games until I cough up the $80+ for the larger card.

Yesterday, I went to GameStop to get LBP for the Vita and they wanted $34.00 for a used copy, thats what a new copy cost, so the clerk must have thought I was crazy as I walked out of the store laughing. Now I can get it at a decent price, and in 6 months it will be free for Plus Members, I just can't wait.

Both great games. Well worth buying, but yeah, you need at least a 16 GB card.

Speaking of space concerns, thanks PS Plus for giving us Super Street Fighter IV. Too bad it's an 18 GB file! I'd have to delete like four full PS3 games to make room for it.

All copies at Gamestop are technically used since they open the sealed cases and force you to buy it with their stupid ass stickers on them.

Not all Gamestops open all the copies. I've never been to one that does. They just open one copy to put a box on the shelf. And if I go to buy a new game, and that's the only copy they have left, I won't buy it.

It's a fun and crazy platformer. Nothing mind-blowing though. I got it from Steam for $3.75 last week. Don't think it's going to be a great purchase at $7.50. I keep getting the feeling it'll be a PS Plus freebie since they've featured it so much in the PS Blog and with release-date discounts and such.

I haven't heard anything that good about Two Worlds II, but I hear it's a big open world RPG and my thinking is "how could it not be worth a mere $5 for the full PS3 game and all the DLC?" so I picked it up. For PS Plus members, you can try the game out for an hour free trial if you want.

edit : I saw this post in CAG, and while it's poorly worded and redundant, it does make the game sound fun:

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

Is there a US release date yet for Oddworld: Munch's Odyssey? I think it's already available for European members. I know Stranger's Wrath came out a couple of days after Christmas last year, so I'm hoping for the same again.
