Re: Official PSN Games Thread

I think the bigger picture is that it's for charity. I already have physical copies of both remastered Darksiders games (which is the only thing out of that bundle that I would be interested in playing), but I'm still tossing in $15.

I'm in for the cheaper bundle, mainly to play the Destroy All Humans games again. I recently went through the Darksiders games, so I'm not interested in those at this time.

Got a chance to play some couch co-op of that Lovers in a Dangerous SpaceTime game last night ... holy cow is that a lot of fun! can't imagine it'd be much fun solo, but with a pal it's a great time. I can't imagine 4 people trying to fly that ship at once!

Also finally got around to one of last month's free games, Tearaway. I don't know if it was because I was stoned, but that game is super cool. The whole aesthetic of the game was just tripping me out.

We also played that for about an hour or so over the weekend and it's an awesome game. Can you do co-op online as well? Or is it just couch co-op?

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

With some new deals released yesterday, wondering who DL Skyforge to give it a shot? Two us jumped on the early access deal for $12 when it came out....figuring we give it a go since $12 is better than $39-$59 getting some goodies in the mix and now it's Free. Plus PS4 has it and XB doesn't....We played last night and we saw a lot of players in various locations. It's not as polished as other games but so far we like it.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

The Last of Us remaster and Uncharted Collection for $7.99 each is an awesome price. That's a lot of hours of entertainment for next to nothing.

I think I'm finally going to grab the Marvel: Ultimate Alliance Bundle. I feel dirty spending $30 for it, but it never seems to go on sale.

You win. I spent $40 on the bundle. Fact is I still enjoy those games though they haven't aged very well. They're still fun though and thanks to MUA, I know many more characters than I did the first time I played through it.

Getting the Uncharted Collection. I've never played them, so this is the time.

Even at the Canadian price of $9.99, it's a bargoon!

I'm tempted by both this and Transformers, but they were insanely priced for upscaled games, and this just brings them in line with what they should have started out as. If released physically these would be sub 20 by now.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

Since the Elder Scrolls Tamriel Gold version is sold out at Best Buy, I might bite on the Unlimited at $10. I spent $12 on the early Skyforge and still playing it seeing just how far it goes without getting into a sort of "Pay-to-Win" scenario. Always wanted to try and after looking at the Elder Scrolls Forum seems to have a solid following...just cannot tell how many are PC, XB and PS4.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

I played through all the Uncharteds multiple times on PS3 so $7.99 was an easy buy for the collection.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

Heads-Up : Golden Week sale should start tomorrow. Weird Japanese stuff should be significantly discounted. Sadly probably not much of a discount on Nier Automata yet, but I can always

Also our buddies at Zen Studios are coming out with a new game this Spring, complete with PS VR functionality :

Type:Rider is pretty cool also. It's a fun puzzle platformer that also gives you a history lesson on fonts through the ages.

Sale is now live. Nier is $42. Persona 4 Golden on Vita is also on sale for $9. Might be time to finally grab it.

Ah, good old Golden Week Sale. The time of year that reminds me that yes, Sony USA actually does offer games like this to download and play on the PS4 :

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

Does anyone know if Dust: An Elysian Tail has previously gone on sale (cheaper than the $15 asking price), or been included as a PS+ monthly freebie?

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

Nope, never on sale.

It was a PS Plus Freebie in Oct 2014 (the infamous Driveclub pseudo-launch month)
