Is that a sale price? I almost bought it for XOne but it was like $25.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

played some Transistor over the weekend and as I thought I would .... loved the atmosphere, didn't really care for the predominantly turn based combat system

plus the skill tree/upgrade system really isn't intuitive

I have that problem with the same games, but it's the Transistor picture for Apotheon. It's also listed twice in trophies instead.

Yeah, mine was also showing Transistor for Apotheon. I went ahead and played Apotheon for about an hour, and felt comfortable enough to delete it after that. At least the icon problem inspired me to play the game.

I've had this happen with downloading both those games and Peggle 2 and Metal Gear: Ground Zeros a few months ago. I think it has to do with downloading two games at the same time. Deleting and redownloading seems to fix it. I will now only download one game at a time.

I think I had two Pixeljunk Shooter icons when one should have been Octodad. Deleting and downloading the latter again solved the issue.

Figured that might work. Not gonna sweat it. I'll just play one and delete it.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

So now it looks like there is another PSN sale going on. The Critics' Choice Sale. Looks like prices are good through the 24th. I'm sure there is a full list out there, but the bigger PS4 ones I noticed were:

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Legion Edition - $25
The Telltale Games Collection - $44
OlliOlli - $2.60
Never Alone - $9
Metro Redux - $25
Hohokum - $7.49
Outlast: Bundle of Terror - $7
Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition - $14
Child of Light - $6
Wolfenstein: The New Order - $24

I passed up that Telltale bundle when XB1 had it on sale over the holidays and it looks like it paid off. I wonder if it's going to drop much more.

Is that a good deal for Infinity? Then I'd just have to buy a toy box set so I get the portal and some figures?

No matter what Infinity set you get you will get the game disk. I'm not quite sure why this game is up for sale on the PSN as you need figures to play it. The only reason is maybe to get it out to the new adopters for 2.0 that don't have the first game on disc. However, there is really no reason to go back to it unless you have the level specific figures or you are stuck playing the more rudimentary Toy Box 1.0 instead of the newer and more improved Toy Box.

Plus, Nintendo basically let you download Infinity 1.0 for free on the WiiU after 2.0 came out.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

FYI : regarding the bases --

Disney Infinity Base

If you have a physical base from Disney Infinity, it will work for Disney Infinity (2.0 Edition) in most cases. The exception is that the Xbox 360 base only works on Xbox 360, and does not work on Xbox One. Neither of the Xbox or 3DS bases work on other platforms.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

Ah, I see. Thanks. So if I'm new to Infinity then this sale is not for me since I don't have a portal. Actually it doesnt matter since I'd get it for the 360 as that is my kid's gaming system. PS4 is for Daddy.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

So at lunch today I went to buy COD: advanced warfare for $39.94, but got distracted...I just went back now and loaded $50 into my account and the sale is over.

I guess i assumed "through the 24th" meant all day.

what time do these sales usually end?
