Hold up, things just got even better:

The PS Blog posted the free list as :
Dragon’s Crown (PS Vita, PS3)

Dragon’s Crown isn’t cross-buy

You’re correct, it isn’t cross-buy, but I’ve been told Plus members will receive both versions. ^_^
In addition, Proteus also comes with Vita version

I wouldn't assume this. At all.

EA isn't known for turning down revenue streams, and I think the effect, if any, will be minimal.

Amazingly good news!

And seriously, Vita/PS+ combo is getting ridiculous with all of the cross buy stuff. Seems like Vita has been getting 4-5 games per month.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

I'll be up for some co-op Dragon's Crown if anyone's interested.

Road Not Taken doesn't look to be my kind of game, but if the game is half as funny as the trailer, I'll be well entertained.

Too bad you can't actually buy a Vita right now.

Well, I think Gamestop got a shipment in, but everyone else has been out for a couple months.

Which is exactly the reason I recently bought one.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

And it's also the reason that nobody will make retail Vita games anymore. Too many indie games and PS Plus freebies. Nobody wants to pay $40 for a single Vita game any more.

I haven't played it on the PS4, but Rogue Legacy on the PC is awesome.

I had family in town and forgot to get in on the RL pre-order. Now I wait until a sale.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

I passed on RL since I'm not a fan of rogue-like games (though I hear this one might be the most forgiving and fun of the genre). I think I will wait for either a PS Plus freebie or a sale either here or on Steam.

I'm getting the other three games in the PLAY promotion though. The reviews for The Swapper sound great

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

Not the greatest deal in the world, but considering that you almost NEVER get a deal on PSN credit, I felt it's worth pointing out that at Target, this week there's a Buy One (any) Gaming Card, Get a second at 25% off. If you buy a $20 PSN card, you'd save $5 on the second. $35 for $40 isn't amazing, but it's better than nothing. Also if you have a RED card, that's another 5% off (or $33.25 for $40).

That's exactly what I needed to hear. Rouge-like (or rouge-lite in this case) games just aren't for me. Glad I passed on this one.
Will probably get the other three PLAY titles though. I pre-ordered The Swapper and there's a countdown on my PS4 XMB now -- very cool, actually.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

It's gotten some very good reviews. I'm excited to check it out on the PS4.

From the countdown timer on my XMB, it looks like it'll unlock and be playable at Midnight, which would be cool but I'll be sleeping by then. If that's how preorders are now in the PSN store, that's a big improvement.

Finally got everything from the Plus freebies downloading (except for Crisis 3, too big to download for now). Lots of cross buys this week. Downloading Fez on 3 systems cuz they're all there. Fun stuff.

I would be all over that B4 premium for $32 if I didn't already trade it in.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

Traded BF4 in for $40. Could get game and premium for $61. Kind of tempting.

Where is Planetside to save me from EA's bullshit???
