Pick up one extra nunchuck is you plan on playing multiplayer. I've had mine since launch and haven't really need more then one extra one.

If you are going to do the metroid series I would go ahead and pick up 1-3 and start at the beginning. The stories kind of are continuous and you can see the progression of the series. Zelda for the Wii is it's own entity so just dive right into that.

I second Excited Truck, THEE underrated game on the Wii. I saw it at Kmart for $25.

Wii Zapper is totally worth $20. Zelda's Crossbow is a great game and the zapper is kind of a bonus. Alternatively if you really want to save $8 you can just get the game itself used from this website.

I would wait for We Play Golf to come out this summer as it is supposed to be REALLY good.

Nintendo to Launch New Wii Channel In May With Ratings, Demos

Washington (dbTechno) - According to the latest reports, Nintendo is ready to launch a brand new Wii Channel this May. The new channel will be a free download and will allow for some brand new features such as downloadable content.

The new Wii Channel is going to allow gamers to rate WiiWare games, allowing others to see what they gave the games for a score, etc.

They will also offer downloadable demos for Nintendo DS games as part of the new Wii channel.

It will also be used as a news station for Nintendo as well. It is expected that they will be using the channel to make all kinds of announcements in regards to the Wii, DS, and other releases.

This comes as Nintendo posts amazing sales from the month of March for the Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii, with both absolutely dominating the sales chart.

Nintendo is also riding high with major releases such as Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Mario Kart Wii, and Wii Fit.

Speaking of demos, will they be offering them for the WiiWare games? This is a really nice feature on XBLA, and really helps to sift through the crap.

I have no authority to say there won't be demos, but from that PR just above I infer that there won't be because it'll have a user rating system. The best you're likely to get is that the people who have purchased it have rated it 3.47 stars out of 5 or whatever...

Just a hunch.

There are some that can use it, I know SSBB, Mario Kart, and MLB Power Pros can use them.

That's sweet. I just setup Scumm on my son's PC so he could play Full Throttle. Would be cool to do that on the Wii...

It's about time!!! The game has become a cult classic and its availability is low in the secondary market.

I love all the articles saying that GTA IV is/was a threat to the Wii, and with the newest information out, That has proven not to be the case. The Wii caters to a non-gta IV style crowd, and will continue to churn out huge numbers.

I know everyone is probably spent after GTA & Mario Kart but has anyone picked up Boom Blox yet? I have a GC to Wal-Mart but they didn't get it in yesterday. I'm having a group over Friday night so hopefully they will get it before then. Reviews are finally up:

Holding at 88% on Gamerankings with 1up and X-Play giving it perfect scores. Everyone else is between 80%-90%.

I've hard a lot of good things about Boom Blox. EGM gave it higher scores the MK. I still have not even touched Okami Wii too.

As for the Nintendo Channel... can't wait to go home and try it out tonight!

The Kotaku review was very positive as well, the only problems they had were with the online stuff (sharing maps) and co-op multiplayer.

The Nintendo Channel is really cool. You can watch videos, recommend games, purchase games and download DS demos. So far all the videos have loaded quickly and I'm in love with Crosswords DS!
