Just picked one up at lunchtime from Gamestop using the 10% off coupon. Also picked up Gurumin on PSP with said coupon.

i should finally be able to play this tonight. looks like a great game. 9/10 from ign.

i was always fond of the sierra "point and click/type" adventures and i heard this sorta feels like one but with more action.

I was thinking about going to Fry's tonight to grab Dracula X Chronicles.. so maybe they'll have Z&W, they seem to be (or were) very good at stocking a decent amount of "under the radar" titles, if this actually qualifies for that since it's getting a lot of hype.
Pixy, Any luck at Fry's?
Im going to run by the Irving store on the way home if they have it.

I managed to snag one of madara's copies, so I haven't been to Fry's. It's probably the best place to check if it's on your way. Since there's about a thousand Gamestops in the DFW area, you could do a inventory check on their website (call to confirm) and use the 10% coupon.

After getting more play time in last night, I'm enjoying this more and more. Once you get past the first "world", the puzzles start getting tougher. Fortunately they usually give you two levels to choose from at any time, so if you're stuck on one, you can go take a crack at another one. In addition, you might discover something in one level that you can use to get past a similar obstacle in another level, so it helps to switch to a new area if you're getting frustrated. Despite the "kiddie" look, many of the puzzles seem too tough for the young'ns, so people who grew up on adventure games won't be disappointed in the level of challenge.

If you meant me, well...it's excellent. Anyone who likes logic and solving puzzles should pick it up. If you have specific questions, I can answer them, but that's the bottom line.

I found a copy at Gamestop and it hurt for me to buy it there. The 10% softened the blow.

Good news is that I wasn't hounded about trade-ins, pre-orders, or magazine subscriptions, not a single word. Even better, I bought a new copy and actually got a sealed one! Double

This looks cool.

Unfortunately Amazon has it in stock via Target so I can't get my Prime free shipping, so I'll have to try and find it locally. I wonder if local Target stores will have it since their site does.

It's funny when a store gets dancing bananas by just meeting the most basic of expectations.

Ain't that the truth.

The guy said he was new though, so I give it a week before he is programmed to spit out all the things he missed today.

i got to play this a little last night and this afternoon

i got through the first world (completed 5 stages/puzzles)

so far it's pretty clever/fun and even the first couple stages were challenging. it does remind me of the old school point and click PC games, but without having to click on every little thing.

the controls are kinda touchy. some puzzles and gestures involve rotating the controller around and can be a pain in the ass. also, i found it really annoying on the first boss when i was in the cave below him and clicking everywhere and my character wouldnt move at all. also on the first boss i died three times because i forgot to grab the
Spoiler:
umbrella before i fell to my death.

it is a great game so far and would be really fun with a group of friends trying to solve the puzzles.

Finally played some. Made it through the first 5 puzzles. Awesome game that is destined to become the next BG&E, Okami or Eternal Darkness.

Can't wait to play some more. Funny, the last retail game I played on the Wii was Paper Mario back in the spring. RE4 and Metroid couldn't even convince me to step away from the 360, but this game has.

I'm going to get my copy today, but please don't say that. I really want this game to be more than the next great game that doesn't sell. I really hope an audience starved for a good Wii game won't completely ignore this one.

I'm totally rooting for it though, so go out and buy it. Kudos to Capcom.

Oh I'm rooting for it too. I just think with the one-two punch of the ridiculous title and the graphic style is going to kill it.

chess, how old is your little guy? I would imagine the difficulty of this really isn't kid friendly. I'm only 5 in and I haven't been truly stumped yet, but with 100 puzzles, I can already see them getting insanely complicated down the line.

He's almost 10, but I figure we can play it together...might be fun actually.

I just want it to meet Capcom's expectations and hopefully be a sleeper hit.

I really want this game, but it's on my x-mas wish list, so I'll wait. Glad it's being well-received though.
