i consistently post up 220k or better, so that made me pretty happy. I'd rather be consistent that post erratic scores and just getting lucky once in a while.
I need more practice in the later stages when you guy is doing mach 5.

I have a lot of trouble with the controller...I have to push down so hard to keep it under control my thumb gets all torn up...anyone else have that happen? I wonder if the Hori stick would really make a difference? I've seen a lot of speculation but I don't think I've seen a report from anyone who actually tried it.
BTW my tag is DethBoxx (rather than dethbox it says above)...might be good to fix in case anyone wants to add me.

I suppose I don't have any way of verifying this, since I don't have my own 360 or XBL account, but I hit 207,000 tonight.
Not bad for someone who's only played a couple of times over at a friend's house, huh?
More than doubled my previous high score, thanks to the recommendations here to forget about the ghosts, and only worry about the dots. . .

It's been a looooong time since I wanted to smash my controller into the ground. But I was thisclose today. I've gotten to the point where if I die before 100k, I go into a rage and restart. I pretty much know the pattern to get me at breakneck speed, but tiny missed turns or ghosts not being where they're supposed to be is infuriating!! I might have to go back to Rainbow 6 to help with my anger issues.
BTW, up to 287,950 now
