Good game forum?
Other than here of course! Are there any video game forums out there that aren't overpopulated with 14 year olds with crappy grammar and typing skills? I'm having a hard time finding one.

A bunch of people from this forum started 8 Bit Brigade, but I try not to pimp it on here. Front page is currently under construction, but forum is flawless. http://forum.8bitbrigade.com/index.php
We deal more with Xbox Live games, so if you want good Wii/PS3/NDS discussion, it's not the place for you. If you like a lot of threadjacking and tomfoolery, check it out.

Cheapassgamer is good, as is neogaf. I hardly post on either of them, but there's never a shortage of information about anything just out/in the pipeline.

Are you looking for news, upcoming game information, etc?
Or are you looking for a more community based site with some news, game posting, such as DVDTalk?

Honestly, this is one of the better ones.
I vote for CAG too - lots of traffic over there.

This is the best by far IMO. A bit slow traffic wise, bu the tight moderation makes it the only real readable forum for me.
CAG is ok, but still too much fanboy bickering, flame wars etc there. Just not as bad as Gamefaqs, ign, 1up.com etc.

Gamefaqs is actually really good if you're looking for discussion on a specific game, and are able to filter out the crap. Because there's a separate forum for every game, the trolls usually only go for the bigger hits... it you want to discuss something like, say, Super Robot Wars Taisen or an import game, it's a great place to go.

This and LCVG are the only video game forums I visit. LCVG was originally formed from people leaving hometheaterforum's video game area and tends to be older A/V video game geeks (I think young is around 20 on the forum).
But not a/v geeks like avsforum's video game forum. All they do there is bitch about how the games look and sound. They spend more time obsessing about games looking and sounding perfect in the home theater and what stuff they support than actually playing them IMO
CAG was OK when I frequented it but it got blocked at work. No big loss, it tended to have lots of fanboys and flamers. But not as bad as Gamefaqs.

I digress, though, since bdshort's meaning of the topic was to find a video game forum specifically void of grammar-troubled juveniles... and many good suggestions were already made.
