Most anticipated game of '07?

What game(s) are you eagerly awaiting to be released? It can be a rumored or confirmed release in 07, doesn't really matter

for me, its really the new Ninja Gaiden for 360, or Soul Caliber 4, if they make it online

For me it boils down to two. GTA IV and Mercenaries 2. There are others that i am definately interested in (Halo 3, Unreal Tournament 3, Spiderman 3, Alan Wake) but these are the main two.

By the way, is there a new Ninja Gaiden game due out on the 360? I thought Ninja Gaiden Sigma was just a PS3 game? Not heard about anything for the 360. I would like to see a new one on the 360 though.

That would be silly. Why would they waste time porting a last gen game for the PS3 when they could just release a new game on both systems? I'm not discounting you, but this is the first I've heard of it as well.

as for me, my top 3:

1. Bioshock
2. Assassin's Creed
3. Halo 3

Runners up:
4. Mario Galaxy
5. Metroid Prime: Corruption

Although there are at least a dozen more that have me excited like Sadness, the Darkness, Half Life: Orange, No More Heroe, Burnout 5, Too Human and the Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass to name a few.

PSP: God of War

.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma is a remake not just a simple port. It has enhanced "next-gen" graphics, new levels, a new playable character (Rachel), new weapons (dual-wielding swords), new enemies and bosses, interactive cutscenes, etc. There are some gameplay videos on Gametrailer's Ninja Gaiden Sigma page.

A new Ninja Gaiden for 360 has never been announced. The closest thing to an announcement happened during an interview with Team Ninja's head of development. He said that after they finished Dead or Alive Extreme 2, they would begin development on the game "that everyone is waiting for." Most people assume he was referring to a Ninja Gaiden sequel, but there has been no actual confirmation.

Anyway, here are the games I am looking forward to this year:

Xbox360:
Assassin's Creed
Bioshock
Alan Wake
Mass Effect
Mercenaries 2

PC:
Crysis
Call of Juarez
Dragon Age
Command & Conquer 3
Half-Life 2: Episode 2
Duke Nukem Forever (there is my early April Fool's joke)

That's absolutely what's happening, as far as I've heard. I didn't even know there's a new one for the 360 in the works.

<hr>

Mine:

360:
Catan (XBLA)
Assassin's Creed
Halo 3
Mass Effect
Mutant Storm 2 (XBLA)
Bioshock

Wii:
Super Paper Mario

PS3:
Afrika (yes, really)
Little Big Planet

DS:
Dragon Quest
New Super Mario Bros. 2 (not announced but they'd be idiots not to be working on it right now)

PC:
Puzzle Quest

I'm still waiting for a real sequel to SSX3/SSX Tricky (not that SSX On Tour garbage or the SSX Blur re-hash).

Out of all these, Catan is the one I want most. If I did not have a 360, I would buy one for it.

Random question - Was there a full fledged "Mario Bros." game on Gamecube?

Cant wait for:
Guitar Hero for 360
Zelda for DS
GTA4 for 360
HALO 3 for 360

More will be added later if I end up getting a Wii...

Blue Dragon

And I haven't heard of any Ninja Gaiden news for 360 either.

And I don't see why you wouldn't count Mario Sunshine as a "Mario Bros" game unless you don't count Mario 64 either.
