Definitive Finished/Unfinished List and Report Card Thread (2007)
Similar to my Unwatched DVD Pile Thread, I want to bring a little organization to my gaming pile. Mostly to turn the idea into a list thread to be updated. Basically turn it into a running score sheet with a standard grade rating(A-F). So at the end of the year you have one comprehensive record of your nerd accomplishments.
 Notes: - Once you finish a game from your pile of shame bump it to the complete list and rate it. - no need for a "now playing" or "on deck" section since it is safe to say that you will be playing something from your pile of shame.  - Use your own judgment on games that have no ending like Clubhouse games or sports titles. For example, I feel I got my money's worth of Clubhouse Games, so I consider it "finished" enough to rate it even though I still play it. Even arcade titles like Pac-Man that have no true ending, but getting all the Achievements is a pseudo way of viewing that it is finished enough to rate. - Leave out impressions since we all discuss the games in their respective threads anyway, just give the finished game a grade. Helps keep things clean. If it fails to gain traction I will delete and go back to Josh Hinkle's Thread. OR if you want me to remove this Josh, just say the word. I think from my organized list you can see it could be a welcome and helpful addition to the forum. |

Completed Games
March Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader (Gamecube), A-: Great game, but damn tough. The last mission drove me nuts for about a week. The gold medals are near impossible to get. Definate replayability and fun. Feels just like you're in the movie. Nowhere near 100% completed, but I doubt I'll ever get that. Mortal Kombat: Armageddon (XBox), C-: This game really feels like you're playing an 80s game, especially the Konquest and Motor Kombat modes. The MK fighting isn't bad, and the selection of characters is great, but the game is really starting to show its age, badly. May Rainbow Six: Vegas (360), A: Superb game, the normal difficulty is quite challenging, but never "AI is cheating/game is flawed" challenging. The multiplayer is superb, and the co-op is some of the most fun I've had in years. I'm looking forward to playing through again on realistic. Unfinished Pile of Shame (with descriptions) Zelda: LTTP (Wii VC): About 95% done, got all the items and 19/20 hearts. Just have to beat Ganon. Burnout 3 (Xbox): Have golds in all but 2 races. The 5 minute preview lap with the F1, and the Kings Grand Prix (or whatever it's called). So almost 100% completed. Zelda: TP (Wii): About 50% done, haven't played in a while, haven't been able to get into it. Resident Evil 4 (GC): About 20% done, great game, very difficult. Need to sit down and have a play session soon. Oblivion (360): About 10 hours in, so about 1% done.
