What do you use to protect your DS or PSP screens?
Pelican? Hori?
I need something to protect my DS and PSP (also my SanSa). They are getting scratches even though i'm being very careful with them... The screens (especially the PSP) is prone to finger prints and spits (i let kids play my DS). I'm thinking about getting any screen protector as long as they're on sale, like the one in CC, $4.99 instead of $9.99 (for the PSP, two plastics with cleaning cloth). Until today, i head about this site:
bestskinsever.com
They got the whole body ones for the DS!!!
Now questions:
The site reputatble? Anybody ordered from them before? How easy is to apply the whole body skin (the screen is just one smaller piece)? Does it come with skin applying instructions?
Thanks in advance!

Nothing for my DS.
My original DS I've had since launch in Nov 2005 has no scratches noticeable when playing, and the DS lite I've had since launch in June is the same.
Screen protectors are not needed unless its being used by a child IMO. As long as you don't press hard and wipe of the screens before playing a stylus heavy game you'll be fine.

I bought the ones from ShieldZone which are basically identical. The full body on the DS is I held off for a month, wasn't sure if I wanted it on there, but I'm glad I did. You have to look twice to actually see it on there.
I did put screen ones on that come with it as well. It adds a lot of resistance to it but it appears it will work itself out over time.

For the PSP I have one of these:

They are pretty pricey but very high quality. The screen is not distorted in any way, you cannot tell something is on it. For my DS Lite I have some ordinary PDA screen protectors from like Office Max which I cut to fit. This site also has a DS one.

Nothing. PSP only got a few minor scratches before I sold it and my DS also only has very light scratches. The touch screen is not quite as tough as the one on my PDA, but it holds up pretty well to abuse.
I've always found screen protectors more trouble than they are worth.

I got that stylus for my birthday last month. Very nice. Awkward at first because it is so heavy, but after using it for awhile, I couldn't imagine going back, the default plastic one is too light.

I don't use anything on my ds lite. One of my friends bought two different brands of screen protectors and he could never get them on without bubbles forming. If you use the nintendo brand stylus you won't have any problems.

The day I bought my PSP I also bought one of those plastic screen covers for a few bucks, Pelican I think? Anyway, my screen still looks perfect, but I'm not sure that has anything to do with the cover or my general standard of care w/ my PSP. Will never know since I've always used the cover. I like to think it was worth the couple of bucks though as it hasn't taken anything away from the quality of the picture.

Well, after clicking the link, it's a shinning nail with a plastic tip... I don't have problems with the plastic ones. As a matter of fact got a tons of free plastic stylus from PC Expo, no point buying them at all. Light up stylus anybody?

After reading the posts, most people don't even bother to use a protective skin. I guess i'll save my self $20 bucks (three skins, two are full body). After all, they are clear plastic covers... As my saying goes, if it lasts till the next model, it's good enough.

Yeah, i saw a number of people use those, not bad.... more material value that the clear plastic skins, but i don't think it protects the actual screens, unless it comes with the platic screen covers as well?
The DS is less likely to have screen scratches after playing, since you fold the unit to put it away.
