Shit.

I thought I got all of them the last time and I went over to revive Ray and then boom. A fire arrow hits me out of nowhere. Mission Failed.

That was try number 5, and I have had little to no trouble up to this point.

Overall though I have been loving this game. Worthwhile purchase, definitely!
The final boss battle wasn't as tough as that section.

Finished the game in six days. I've finished very few games that quickly.

Re: "Ghostbusters"

I suspect I'm overlooking something obvious, but I need some help on the part where you are supposed to drain the black slime. I was able to lower the counter weights on the gate but I can't seem to get the gate itself to do anything. Any hints/clues/suggestions are welcome...

TIA

EDIT: never mind... finally figured it out... could have sworn I did that action before but whatever

If it's the same problem I had: when I lowered the weights initially, it didn't lower them all the way. There was maybe an inch (of screen size) between the weights and the thingy on the floor. I had to keep tethering until both were completely down all the way.

Re: "Ghostbusters"

Big fan of the Ghostbusters movies. I played through the demo and I liked what I saw. Most people say you can finish this fairly quickly (8-10 hours). Think this is better as a rental? How does MP stack up? Any replay there?

Thanks

I'm also a big fan of the movies so I bought the game, and I would've regardless of the reviews. Thankfully, it's actually a fun game. I'd say buy it if you're a fan of MP, otherwise probably rent it. I don't have a X-Box Live Gold Subscription at the moment but I'm still glad to own the game.

The single player campaign though doesn't have too much replay value.

Yeah the final boss was way too easy. I had virtually no trouble with him once I figured out how to take out the shield. The Stone Angels was my one trouble spot but it was smooth sailing the other 98% of the game. Took me about a week myself.

Now I'm going through it again on Professional.

Re: "Ghostbusters"

Stone Angels on Professional can result in broken LCD monitors.

If you had trouble on Casual/Experienced, you're going to hate it even more on Pro.

Good luck!

Re: "Ghostbusters"

Been playing through this on the Xbox. Pretty fun. Sometimes it's infuriating because the control is somewhat loose, but it's a cool game. Hope they do some sequels. Awesome to hear the whole cast back together.

Re: "Ghostbusters"

So the 'angry videogame nerd' posted a review of Ghostbusters. Except he's not in character and playing himself doing a serious review:

Re: "Ghostbusters"

I am loving this game. I finally been able to play it since I been away doing a internship and this game is alot of fun. It really feels like Ghostbusters 3, The story is alot of fun and better then what I thought. The writing is very good and is really funny. I havent yet played multiplayer yet. Looking forward too it.
