Need recommendation on a new 360 game.

I need to get a new game, but not sure what to get. I have enjoyed Call of Duty 2, Gun, FNR3, Tony Hawk. Didn't care for Ghost REcon, Oblivion, PGR3 or King Kong(To damn dark to see anything on the screen). A little help would be nice.

I haven't played it myself, but I've heard good things about Hitman: Blood Money, so that's a possibility.

Also, seeing as you didn't like PGR3, you may enjoy Burnout: Revenge. It's much more of an Arcade style racer as opposed to the sim style of PGR. Plus, the online part of it is just amazing.

I second Hitman: Blood Money. I thought the first 3 Hitman games were ok, but nothing too special. Blood Money though is so much more refined and just plain better. It is fairly open-ended as well. You can play through each mission in a lot of different ways. One mission takes place in Mardi Gras, and there are literally over a hundred NPCs on screen simultaneously. It is really cool to see. The ending sequence to Blood Money is also very awesome. It is one of the best endings I have seen in a long time.

I had a good deal of fun with DOA4 online. Burnout also recently had a price drop so you should be able to find it cheaper now.

I don't have Xbox Live. So it needs to be a good game without live.

Burnout Revenge is great on and offline. It is $30 at Circuit City this week, you might want to check out Top Spin 2 or Table Tennis for $40

Yeah, Burnout Revenge is great and you can't beat the price. It's my favorite 360 game (so far). And I don't have Live.

I agree with Burnout Revenge. Play it loud.
I liked Condemned. Play it in the dark alone.

Condemned is pretty freaky when played in the dark...and I think it just had a price drop too.

Burnout Revenge is good if you didn't play the XB version. If so, move along.

Condemned is good but short.
I tried the Hitman demo and it was good but not great.
Amped is alot of fun but can get a bit repetitious after a while. Still it's a solid choice.

A short game, but one that I enjoyed. The new Tomb Raider: Legends was a nice game.

Gotta ditto Hitman: Blood Money. I thought the demo rocked and I can't wait to pick this one up. You have to like stealth though, or you it may not be your cup o' tea. It's a cool series and the graphics look incredible.

I've heard a lot of good things about Hitman: Blood Money. I'm looking forward to picking it up later today, myself.

Condemned: A little short (10 hours or so,) but it's a lot of fun. If you play it by yourself in the dark, you'll probably jump a few times. It's one of my favourite "horror-esque" games.

Burnout: A lot of fun. It's definitely worth getting. I'd never played a Burnout game before I rented this and I now understand why everyone loves them so much.

Condemned is GREAT. Burnout is fun, especially for $30 now. Full Auto is Burnout with guns and rewind...also seems to be $30 at CC this week.

I'd check out Need for Speed. It's got some really great graphics, some cheesy (yet funny) cutscenes, and is a lot more easier for driving than compared to PGR (though granted, not quite as realistic). I liked the game a lot, and it's actually pretty easy to get 1000 gamer points (if you're into that).

The gameplay of Amped didn't really hook me which bummed me out actually because the cutscenes and storyline in the game were so good i wish i had liked it more.

I rented the new X-Men game as well as Gun this evening. X-Men is terrible. Gun has been a good deal of fun so far.

Another vote for Burnout Revenge. I can play that for hours and hours non-stop. I'm also currently enjoying Hitman and really want to get Condemned after playing the demo.

How short is short? I sometimes like a game I can rent and finish in a few hours.

I know others are finishing it faster, but Gun took me 14 hours to beat on hard.

The main quest could be beaten in a couple hours flat. That's only half the fun though. I did all the side quests and searched for hidden gold and what not. Extended the length a couple hours.

Here's hoping for a (truly) next-gen sequel...

If you beat it on hard do you get the achievement for hard, normal, and easy or do you have to run through it three times for those and once for insane?
