EGM "Too Human" scans!!!

Don't know if anyone is interested, but this is definitely one of my most anticipated games, along with Gears of War and Mass Effect. The scans are not very good, but I've brightened them up and sharpened them a bit more. Basically digital camera pics of the magazine.

The concept behind this game sounds amazing, as well as epic. The advanced camera angles make it seem like your in the middle of a cinematic event, rather than the typical gameplay angle. The control scheme is also completely different. Can't wait to see more from E3. Better scans will probably be hitting the net in the next day or so.

Enjoy!

I too was looking forward to Too Human 7 years ago when it was first announced in 1999 for the Playstation1. It was later shoved to the Gamecube and now the Xbox360. It has been delayed almost as much as Duke Nukem Forever (which was first announced in 1998). Too Human does look to have a better chance of ever being released than Duke Nukem Forever. However, I am not holding my breath that it will be any time soon. As long as this game has been in development, it better be the baddest mother f'ing game ever with review scores of 15 out of 10.

When has a game been worth that kind of delay? Honestly, I cannot think of a single game where constant platform changing helped it.

When I saw the preview of this game before the 360 came out, I was excited.
I hope the game lives up to the hype and my expectations.
But when the game is released and on store shelves, I definetly will be picking up a copy. Looks like a great game.

Modified character design to make Japanese gamers, the "I don't like realistic looking games" folks, and Japanese games ONLY fans happy.

The gun and the armor aren't colorful enough.

I also didn't add buxom big eyed bimbos.

10/10 because I did it without Photohop.

Very much looking forward to this. This game, if it lives up to the hype, could have me buying a 360 for it alone.

Is it just me or do a bunch of these games look really really similar in terms of art direction. Unreal Tournament looks sort of like Too Human which looks sort of like Gears of War. I dunno, maybe its the next generation where graphics are so good that everything looks "real" and, oddly, the same as well.

It was originally going to be on the Playstation, but then Silicon Knights signed an exclusive partnership with Nintendo. So then the project was moved to the GameCube, but I don't think work was ever seriously restarted. There were never any screenshots or previews of the GameCube version. In 2004, Nintendo cut ties with them, and since then they've restarted the project using the Unreal 3 engine.

Looks pretty generic to me. There are way too many of these futuristic shooters out there.

That said, hoefully it's good. Can always use a good new game.

He also needs a really wacky hair style like this:

or possibly this:

He should also be wielding a sword so massive it would break his scrawny arms if he actually tried to swing it.

Oh and just for fun, pics I found while googling for the above pics, some Japanese-anime-costume-wearing nerds:

I have only one thing to say to these people:

NERDS!!!

Well, considering it's scheduled to be released this year, and will be in playable form at E3, you can hold your breath.

This isn't a shooter. It's an action RPG. There is some shooting elements to the game, but it's not a shooter. The story will comprise a trilogy of three games, similar to Mass Effect. In some ways, the story is similar to God of War in that you plays as a cybernetic god named Baldur. But that's where the similarities end, according to Dennis Dyack of Silicon Knights.

The development on the PS and Gamecube were pretty much scrapped, and the game was completely rebuilt from the ground up for 360.

By the way, those people in the pictures above are much worse than even hardcore Star Wars and Star Trek fans. Jeez!

This sort of reminds me of Perfect Dark Zero, and I have this feeling it'll end up the same. Even though I loved ED, cutting ties with silicon knights may have been the second smartest thing nintendo did after they ditched Rare.

I understand what you are saying, but from my impressions of reading interviews with Dennis Dyack (SK Dude) they seam to really have their stuff together. I don't know if I'm yet convinced that this situation is like Rare.

With Rare you had all the top talent leave prior to selling. In addition you could tell in the games that Nintendo had directly influenced the games direction. With SK I get a different feeling, we'll find out soon enough though...

Sorry, man. It was the last picture of the guy from RotN, capped while yelling nerds that got me chuckling. You definitely get an assist though.

I think this game will destroy PDZ. We'll find out soon enough, either way. PDZ could have been made a lot better had they not rushed it for launch. They should have spent another 3-4 months on the game, much like what Ubisoft did with GRAW.

Latest Famitsu scans from the game.
