Amazon.com shows th 14th via TRU and Circuit City's ad seems to indicate 14th as well, if you judge by the fact they advertise "come-in and download the CC exclusive car"

Well, the game went gold a few weeks ago. Not sure why they would sit on it until the 14th but stranger things have happened.

yeah the 9th seems to be the day. Sounds like it is shipping the 7th so maybe you will be able to find it then if you live near a distribution center.

This looks cool as can be. It will definately get me doing some crash mode online where before i would have been playing offline or most likely other modes than crash.

Hopefully it does. Full Auto has a pretty decent lobby system. Though the loading between the end of the race and getting back in the lobby is a bit off.

But the lobby system itself is nice. Easy to change settings and boot people from the lobby. The only problem I have is that it has an option to limit the public spots to 1 out of 8. However, it doesnt' seem to adopt that change and random people keep popping in the lobby if there are open spots.

I doubt too many games will be coming out without lobbies anymore, people throw crazy fits when they don't get the basics of the live componant right nowadays, which is a good thing.

Not that I know of, but I'm sure Madcatz has something in the works.

So does anyone know if this is in stores today? Best Buy has it listed for release today so I'm wondering if EB is gonna call me; with any luck I'll be playing Burnout today.

^^ Videogames don't "come out" they "ship", lame as it sounds. Unlike DVDs where stores have them up to a week or two in advance and get released on a Tuesday, Videogames ship and arrive when they arrive.

It should hit stores today. I'll stop by Best Buy with the 10% off coupon that's floating around - but sometimes they are reluctant to sell games early that actually have a date stated in their weekly ads (this week's ad says "available Thursday")

The 10% coupons aren't valid until the 10th. You will have to wait until Friday to use it. Unless you are referring to some other coupon.

I'm just going to use a $5 gamer gift card, the 10% would only net a $6 discount. So it depends on if you want to wait an extra couple of days.
