What's a good car crash game?

My daughter would like a game that involves racing, and crashing. She is into big explosions as much as racing. She has an XBox and a GameCube. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Burnout Revenge is better, with more explosions and crashes.

Definitely Burnout. 3 is a good start since it's a Greatest Hits and can be found for $20 or less. If she has fun, then you can get Burnout Revenge after

I don't even think there's another option anywhere in the vicinity of the Burnout series of games.

Burnout Revenge for a new game (what, at $39.99 now?), Burnout 3 for a $19.99 - $5 gamer gift coupon purchase at best buy

Yeah, Burnout or die. Though I do think a game for the X-Box called Wrecked: Rise of the Yakuza or something also has some good crash explosion action, but I haven't played it myself. I just wanted to say something other than the obvious, Burnout 3.

Don't mean to thread hi-jack but does anyone know any games that have feature a plumber that jumps around on platforms? Maybe some powerups and princess saving? Anyone?

Yes, actually. I picked up Revenge. I hope it's not too tough for her.

Thanks to all.

It's worth playing* just for the high jump minigame where you throw the driver out of the car during the peak of a jump and then watch him come hurdling back down 100 feet onto the pavement.

*It's worth PLAYING for but not nessecarily worth PAYING for.

I suck at racing games, and I did pretty well at Burnout Revenge. I got a lot of 'greats' and 'perfects', up till rank 4 or so, when I had to return it.
I did the worst at the crash things. There was a lot of load time for not a lot of play, so I tended to avoid them unless I had to play them. Plus I didn't have instructions, so i may have been missing some nuances.
I heard that Revenge was a little easier in a way, because the crash physics were more generous. But it was definitely fun, and some races were a 'challenge' but not cheap.

I always loved linking up Destruction Derby on the PS1, long before Burnout was around. A legitimate answer to the first question.

I have never really played any racing game that didn't have the word Mario in it. But I just picked up Burnout 3 for the X-Box and love it. The only negative is that annoying fratboy announcer.
