City of Heroes - Can you use an ebayed game?

I've been wanting to try City of Heroes, and was looking on ebay for used copies. But I'm curious...

If I buy a used CD that someone has redeemed their free trial on, can I still get the free trial for my new account on the same CD/used serial number?

Can you even reuse a CD for this one?

I'm not sure how this works with games like this...

No. You would need to also get their User ID and Password. Even with them, you still wouldn't get a free trial.

Cool, thanks for the reply. I'll just find a new one then.

Not sure about CoH, but with EQ the original owner of the CD set could get his/her account back by requesting a new password.
